Where I hang out: My bed, actually it's Mimi's bed, she just let's me sleep there.
My favorite grubs: She's not too picky. She likes Purina Cat Chow and Fancy Feast chicken in cans.
My pet peeves: she hates getting her ears cleaned and nails cut.
What I love about my owners: She loves me, brushes me, plays with me, feeds me, cleans up after me, cares for me, and I get to sleep next to her!
My cat hobbies: play with her plastic ring, chase her sister around and EAT.
Pet motto: Cat's are not owned by anyone, but in fact train us to please them.

How We Met
A co-worker couldn't keep her two cats because of an allergy in her family.She was going to take her and Mimi's sis to the pound. So I adopted her two Tabby sisters gladly. We have a very close bond after 6 years together now.

Thank you for pawing by with such sweet ♪ Happy Birthday ♫ wishes & goodies for us. What two extra-fun days we have enjoyed! We celebrated with Minnie Mouse cuppycakes (Mommy’s furiend who owns www.rosebakes.com made them for us). MerryBelle got a mew stainless steel Drinkwell Zen water fountain and Sissy got a red Petzip Luxury Stroller/carrier/car seat all in one. We also got a pink wand toy with a blinky ball on the end of it. You can see pics on the bottom of our pages. Of course, Casper Todd has already drooled & slobbered on our mew wand toy.
Thanks again for sharing our special days with us. Proverbs 27:9 says “A sweet friendship refreshes the soul.” So true!

that happened

Please vote Rosie #252822 for COTD on Monday, 5/20
Recently a cat loving family had their red female cat, Angel Rhuby cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The cat mom of this family decided she would like to adopt another red female and as luck would have it, there was Rosie at the Petsmart Adoption Center. Rosie #252822 and her new mom bonded instantly and Rosie came to her new home that day. Rosie was at the shelter for over two months and was a bit wild. She didn't like being kept in a cage and would fight with the shelter workers when they tried to put her back in her cage. This was a big reason why Rosie #252822 wasn't adopted sooner; she was scared and the people looking at her were not patient with her until her new mom came along. Now at her new home Rosie #252822 is a cuddle cat with her daddy and loves to play with her brother Yogi. She gets along with the rest of her furry siblings and is a happy cat. Rosie #252822 will not eat dry food but she will eat any kind of wet food. She doesn't like dry treats either! Rosie loves to play with her furry mouse and the laser light. Rosie #252822 is happily spoiled now in her new home and we are very happy she has found a wonderful loving home. Rosie would be so honored to have a COTD badge to display on her page. This sweet kitty joined the angels in February 2013 after losing his battle with complications that developed after being hit by a car the month before. He’d survived having both legs broken & surgery, but was unable to walk & had to drag himself to the litterbox. He was very brave & stayed a very sweet boy during all of the pain, infections, examinations & becoming a foster; but the angels knew that his life would not be a full one with his disabilities & thus called him home. Please pounce by to paw ANGEL CRASH #248838 a vote today so that his foster mom will have a fond memory to cherish & so that this sweet angel can earn the honor of making his star the most brilliant in the night sky tomorrow night.

that's what

Please paw by & meet this beautiful Champagne Point Tonkinese kitty. KAYLIN #251700 is not just a beautiful face she is also a CFA Champion & a Mom. She was hand picked for her new parents by her sister Wendy's breeder when she found out how sick Wendy was. But this sweet girl was already a mom so her new parents had to wait to bring her home. All of her kitties found their furever homes & then she had her Big Girl surgery. She was finally able to come to her new home in January. She wasn't sure if she wanted to stay at first, but her new parents gave her lots of love & support so we are happy to report she is settling in quite nicely. KAYLIN #215700 spends her days hanging out on Mom & Dads laps, playing with her toys, & napping in the sun. She also likes to tear through the apartment at top speed and has been known to do it in the middle of the night too. Her most favorite things to eat are the Roast Chicken, that she shares with her parents, and her Blue food. She Loves to make new friends so won't you please stop and give KAYLIN #251700 your vote and make a new friend.

Thank you for pawing by with such sweet ♫ Happy Adoptiversary ♪ wishes for me. It’s hard to believe that it’s been ❼ years already since Mommy brought me home. I was just six weeks old then.
Mommy & Nana had been feeding my Momcat Phoebe while she was preggers at an abandoned house. You can see a pic of my catmom Phoebe & my siblings Kirby, Riley & Oreo at the bottom of my page. Because I looked so much like my momcat with her pretty blue eyes, Mommy originally thought that I was a girl & she named me Chloe Blue. Silly Mommy! Mommy found my cat mom & 3 siblings wonderful, furrever homes, too.
Mommy didn’t know what MerryBelle and Sissy would think about getting a little brother. Well, MerryBelle liked me & “mothered” me, but Sissy STILL hisses and growls at just the sight of me, even 7 years later. She is just jealous because she is no longer the baby!
Psalm 127:3 says “Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.” Mommy believes this, especially since we are her only children.

Vote COTD 4/29 COLT, WINCHESTER & KIMBER #251320
This week’s special recognition candidates were found on the side of a road near a wooded area when they were barely old enough to fend for themselves. Their guardian angel was working hard that day & led their new mom to the right spot where she picked up the three mewing furballs & took them home. These precious sibs have stolen the hearts of many CC members by mom’s picture postings on FB & it’s pawsome being able to watch them grow up here in our loving community. Colt and Winchester love to talk to calm Kimber down because she’s very shy, unlike her more outgoing sibs. They love to play with their mouse toys & frequently pick on their bigger sibs throughout the day to see how much they can get away with. You can often find this rambunctious trio of young felines looking out of the window talking to birds, or playing with their light up ball. They’re snugglers too! They’re often found in the lap of mom or grandpa or you can see them snuggling happily together in their kitty bed. The inseparable trio of COLT,WINCHESTER & KIMBER#251320, are also keeping the house hopping with their energy level so let’s help them bounce off the walls a little more by pouncing by to paw them a COTD vote today, Monday April 29th, so they can earn their very first badge of honor tomorrow!

to windy and cold for janet she decided after walking out to her car after getting out of work and it was a good de-cision on her part seeing she's got sinus from it as well as allergies from a variety of poplars in bloom now. we did see some snow flakes flying around, but didn't stick to anything as it's to warm here in the valley, although around us they did get some accumulations. going to be 40s and not quite as windy today and 50 tomorrow with even more dying down of the wind so that's nice. janet's hoping on getting some zip ties to get out into the garden to get the fence up once and for all so she can get planting stuff the early things. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

These sweet kitties are also dealing with an Auto Immune disorder: Drooler has had 7 teeth removed as a result; Fang suffers from mouth and paw ulcers, and is not too happy that he has to take medications for the ulcers, insulin to treat Diabetes, stress, & will start meds for Hyperthyroidism. Along with Luvbug, Lil Jag, Buster, Smudge, & Angels Kuce, Sphinx, & Dancing Bear, Fang & Drooler #236550 have been given a chance to live with this wonderful family, who are well known to everyone for the love and compassion they have for homeless and abandoned cats! Neelix is a very handsome seven year old tabby who was rescued along with his brother when he was a tiny kitten abandoned in a parking lot. Since that tiny kitten was adopted by his loving pawrents he has trained them to be excellent staff for himself and his brothers. Regarding his brothers, Hedley and Jakar, the three of them comprise the famous (or perhaps infamous) “pawty animals”. These boys are always the life of any party, they create lots of fun at every MHL Mouse Hockey Game, and they are always the first to lend a paw on any project that benefits the CC community. They’re always there to offer comfort to the sad, good thoughts and healing wishes to the sick and congratulations to those who are celebrating. Neelix and his family always support the COTD and COTM candidates. They are a credit to the CC community!
Neelix is an outstanding member of our CC family, and since both of his brothers already have their very own COTD badges, it seems that it is time for Neelix to have one of his own. Won’t you please drop by and give this handsome guy a vote, on Monday so he can have the badge he so much deserves.

Thank you for coming to my Happy Birthday pawty. Mommy says it is hard to believe that I am ➐ years old already. It seems like just yesterday that I was a cute little six week old kitten, and now I’m all grown up & weigh over 15 pounds. No matter how big or old I get, I will always be Mommy’s little baby boy,

The neighbor took in Percy's mom cat and once her litter was born, the human daughters at her forever home fell in love with her. Percy #245206 stood out because of her wonderful personality. Percy is a prima donna kitty until it is playtime; then watch out! Percy #245206 loves to play with her sibling, Simba, and she enjoys ambushing him. They have a grand time together playing with their toys and each other. Percy is also a talker. She loves to have a conversation and even comes when her name is called. That is smart since a treat may be involved if your name is being called, and Percy #245206 enjoys Temptation treats. She gets a little upset, though, if she is expecting a treat and she is ignored. Percy #245206 can use her paws like furry hands and manages to open things. Percy likes to sit on the back of the recliner and watch her family as she relaxes and observes what is going on. late this morning since janet's been helping mommy out as she fell yesterday outside of a store on a curbing again so strained a muscle and janet told her to do heat/ice alternately as well as pain killers not much more you can do for them as they'll take time to heal and will be sore for a few more weeks to come as janet well knows from doing it earlier last month to her rib ligament which is still sore. she's got some cooking and baking to do this afternoon ahead of time for tomorrow's irish meal so have to get moving onto the next entry! sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

Happy Caturday kitties & thank you for your votes of support! I’ve been so busy with my catpaign that I almost forgot a very special day in my own life. Today is my adopty day…woohoo! Three years ago I was taken from a cage at a pet store by my sweet daddy & placed into mom’s arms. The first purr & kiss was all it took & here I am…MOL! Okay kitties, are you ready for another big day trip? This week we’re staying in the U.S. so we’re taking a charter bus driven by our own illustrious Thunderfoot aka Thundie. When the zoo staff found out I was bringing a bunch of kitties with me on this trip they said to make sure to show you this: (Trixie unrolls a sign & has Whiskers hold the other side.) *IMPORTANT NOTE*PLEASE DON'T FEED ANY OF THE ANIMALS, OR CHASE ANY OF THE NATURALLY ROAMING ANIMALS SUCH AS PEACOCKS, GEESE, THIRTEEN-LINED GROUND SQUIRRELS, AND OTHER CREATURES YOU'LL SEE AT THE ZOO.* Hmmm…it seems as though our reputations precede our arrival sweet kitties, which means they’ll be keeping a close watch on us…SIGH! Oh well, let’s climb aboard the Cyclone Express tour bus & I’ll plug in the short film about our destination. Thundie will be turning the bus north out of the parking lot because we’re going to Chicago to visit…the BROOKFIELD ZOO! Since the opening of Brookfield Zoo in 1934, the Society has had an international reputation for taking a cutting-edge role in animal care and conservation of the natural world. Among its historical firsts are indoor multispecies exhibits, zoo nutrition residencies, methods for animal husbandry, and medical care that includes successful brain surgery for a gorilla. Aware that the best way to view an animal is in its natural habitat, the Brookfield Zoo makes great efforts to recreate the native environments of its inhabitants. The Great Bear Wilderness offers one-of-a-kind vantage points for viewing bears, wolves, and bison as they roam the 7.5 acre exhibit. Spread across more than 216 acres, this zoo houses thousands of animals from around the world. Zoo residents live in specially designed, walk-through environments so visitors can view them in natural settings. You also don't want to miss the dolphins at Brookfield's Seven Seas Panorama when they put on shows daily at 11:30 & 2:30. Instead of another heroic animal tale today I thought I’d bring you some curiosities in the mews to get you psyched up for our next surprise zoo destination tomorrow. Let’s just hope the zoo animals are better behaved…MOL!
~SANDWICH-SEEKING BEAR CRASHES CAR~ (Denver Post-July 23,2010)
The Story family of Colorado got the surprise of their lives in July when the police called at 3:30am to inform them that a black bear had taken their teenage son’s car on a joyride down the street before crashing it into some trees, eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and proceeding to completely destroy the interior. This bear opened the door on his own & then somehow the door closed behind him. He probably panicked and started thrashing around, hitting the shifter and putting it in neutral. It rolled 125 feet down the hill near their home & crashed through several trees before stopping in the brush. The four way flashers were on & the bear was going crazy inside so he kept hitting the horn, alerting people in the area who then called the local authorities. Sheriff’s deputies had to tie a rope around the car door handle and open it from afar. Eventually, the bear came out and wandered off into the woods. The 2008 Toyota Corolla was called a total loss. The interior was ripped up, the dashboard was torn out, the windshield broken, and the airbags went off but no one was injured in the bear’s joy ride!
~LEMURS LOCKED UP AFTER CRIME SPREE~ (from Orange News- July 29, 2010)
Two escaped lemurs have been returned to an Austrian zoo after embarking on a week-long crime spree. The sneaky duo hot-footed it from Salzburg's Hellbrunn Zoo by dashing out of the door when their keeper walked in. It was then reported to authorities that they celebrated their freedom by attacking local residents' washing lines, turning over garden furniture, stealing fruit and harassing domestic pets, before winding up in a hotel bar. The hotel manager said, "I couldn't believe it when I came in for work in the morning. It looked like they were looking for something to drink. They were playing with the bottles, but I gave them a banana instead and quickly shut all the doors and windows." Keepers were then able to recapture the law-breaking primates, and have since renamed them King Julian and Maurice, after the ruler of the lemurs and his trusty sidekick in the film Madagascar.
