How We Met
I saw the Beautiful Birman on the cover of Cat Fancy Feb. '04 and went to a cat show May of 04. Almost bought one from a breeder at that time. Off and on been contacting breeders and finaly desided to reserve a seal point.

Wow you're so beautiful. My name is Kokomo and I'm a 14 yr. old Seal Point Siamese. My Mommy rescued a Birman that she called Bailey. Someone threw him in the Street and he was only about 6 wks. old. He was a very good Kitty. He died from cancer at just 9 yrs. old. Mommy and Me got very lonely without him so Mom looked on line and saw another beautiful Siamese (like me lol) and we adopted him from a Breeder. His name is Koda and he's now 2-1/2 yrs. old. Oh, those combs... perhaps your hair is getting tangled and it hurts your belly? I don't mind my belly rubbed. Look, tell your Mom. My Mom gets the broom out of the closet and I go foolish! MOL!! I LOVE the broom! MOL! She says "it's time to clean the cat!" and I come running! I love that broom- and if she tries to broom the floor, I lay in her pile til she brooms me instead! MOL! Perhaps you'd like that better. I hate the vacuum noise maker thing though. *HISS* so sorry that your Mom lost her PyWacket. What an unusual name! Did it have a special meaning?? It's so hard to lose the ones we love. Mom had my kitty Mom, Kahlua, up until about a year ago. Kallie was only 9 but had kidney failure. It broke Mom's heart.. And after that, Mom went to the bad place and adopted 2 more kittens! *HISS* I did NOT like that at all! I thought we were fine, Te Amo and I. I'm happy that Mom rescued Rita and Tequie but they are TOO naughty!! I'm sure that you'd have great fun with them, though! I think they are a bit older than you but they're still naughty!! MOL! Maybe you should come to visit some time!

Mommy is so proud. My Angel sisters even stopped by which made meowmy very happy. My party is making her smile again so this is the best thing to happen to me. I like to make her feel good. Thank you so much for voting me COTD and coming by to congratulate me.. We have to keep the party low key though, it is Ash Wednesday. But we are saving all my special treats for thursday. Mom had to work today but we celebrated without her. Tabitha did this amazing pirouette while her tail was chasing her. She always tries to be the life of a party!!! MOL!! We made our own confetti with newspaper and female stuff out of the bathroom cabinet. It was a wonderful time. MOM didn't even get mad. She just wanted to know if we had fun! We all meowed loud that we did!! Thank you all for all the great treats we ate a few but saving some for later too. I have enjoyed my day Thank you all!!! A Thank You Message from Prissy, #22485
Words cannot express my joy at receiving this honor of COTD. I thank each and every one of you for voting and making this possible, and I truly appreciate the congratulation notes. I wish the news from my vet had been better, but my kidneys are failing. Mama and the vet agreed my quality of life is of upmost importance; and because I am terrified of storms and strange places and do not tolerate needles well, I will not be hospitalized or receive IV treatments at home. I will try to eat prescription food formulated to assist the kidneys, and we all hope this will give me more time to spend with my loving Mama. I ask please that you keep me in your prayers, and my Mama, too. As difficult as it was for her to make this decision, she knows me so well and has chosen what she knows is best for me. Every moment she and I have together will be precious, and treasured. Again, thank you, old friends and new, for this honor, and for caring. How nice of you to HELP
Mom with the leaves today! It's fun tunneling under them coz they make a crackling sound. It's a rainy day in Florida today, plus alittle cooler. Ginger and I tried to go out on the deck, and the sound of the steady rain was something we've never heard. I got brave and hit the grass running - Mom was laughing so hard, because I was shaking each paw as I tried to dodge the rain drops! Needless to say I was only outside less than 20 seconds, and came running back onto the covered deck. I think Ginger was thinking "something not very nice". But hey my motto is this: "Never be afraid to seek center stage." Then when Turner went to the Rainbow Bridge at Thankstgiving, I got Tucker, who poor baby had FIP. I used my clunky paw to give you a vote. I think it's a great idea to be furriends. I left you a vote too. You are just so cute. But, my Mom wants to warn you, Birmans are like potato chips, it's hard to have just one. Today, Poochi went to see Dr. Mary for some bloodwork. Mom and Dad want to make sure that he is healthy so that they can adopt another kitty for him to have a new buddy. He lost his furever pal, Turner, the end of November to cancer. Then when I arrived, he and are were just beginning to have a wonderful bond. I loved him sooooooo much as you can see in our pictures. But, the stress of neutering, brought out what we all feel was FIP and there just isn't a cure for that. So, here I am with Turner at the Rainbow Bridge. We do a lot of cloud hopping and mice cream socials. We went camping last weekend with all the angel kitties and had so much fun. Well, gotta run, we're having a race up Sunshine Mountain. Come hang out with me anytime. I love the company. TuckerCome visit me, Poochi, Angel Turner, FitzWilly and Gabriel & Angel Tucker.

Sounds pretty nice up there right now. Thanks for the compliments on my kitten picture in CF - it's one that's dear to Mom's heart because it was taken 2 days after I arrived here. Did I ever tell you that Mom was sick on the day she flew to Gr. Bay to get me? She needed a barf bag on each flight! That's almost been a year ago.
