Education: Smoke had to take medication all the time, he was a champ he would get up on the footstool and wait for you, then you you were about to give it to him he would lift up his lip for you!!!

My favorite tricks and treats are: They all liked practically every treat there was!! They really liked the little pieces of meat I would give them from dinner though. On Sundays I would give them a large cat split amongst them, this was their very favorite day of the week!!

Where I hang out: wherever mom was that included outside.

My favorite grubs: Every night when we would sit down for dinner all the kitties would magically appear. Each sat watching without moving till I was done. I would cut little peices of whatever i was eating and then would dole it out to all. Each would wait patiently for their goodies and then would go on their own way!!! It was the only time we had them in the same room except for catnip time!!! Smoke special favorite was Snyders cheese curls one night mom had left a bowl of these on the table & had left the room. Pretty soon she heard a noise and went back in to find the bowl had been tipped over and Knocked onto the floor, I was eating my way back to the bowl!! MOL!!!.. .everything else there wasn't much he wouldn't eat.

My pet peeves: Smoke ~ Came to us in 1989, missing and eye and had a terrible ripped leg, they think a large bird had gotten hold of him but somehow he got away. He was so little he couldn't go down the stairs to use the litterbox so he would come find me to take him down the stairs. He never had an accident. Wherever I went there he was, not far away, even when I was weeding he would lay in the dirt close to me. He had a huge Mouth and never stopped talking and believe me he had alot to say!! He & I bonded so deeply we knew what the other wanted or needed. He crossed the rainbow Bridge at 3:30am with me by his side at age 18.

Spike ~ was a handsome Polydactyl Tuxedo kitty with seven toes on the front and six on the back!! He was the only One of our kitties at the time that came from a Shelter. He was definetly the most well adjusted cat I have ever met besides Smoke. Spike loved everybody!!He was incredibly sweet and endearing. We would take him to the Vets and he had to walk around and visit everyone while we were there!! He was the Dad to Sweet Pea & Flash. For the last year of his life he was blind, he managed extrodinarily well. We helped Spike Cross the Rainbow Bridge @ Age 18 From Congestive Heart Failure.

Flash ~ Was a devil, he was always instigating something! He was definetly a playboy who was very friendly with everyone. He like his mom fetched, only he fetched anything you would throw, he loved wadded up paper balls and would wear you out playing. He was also a Polydactyl kitty but he only had six toes on the front and five on the back. Flash was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and crossed the Rainbow Bridge with our help @ age 16.

Sweet Pea ~ She was a tiny girl who was not a polydactyl. She was shy girl who pretty much tried to stay under the radar of the other cats!! She Loved her catnip though and would always pick a fight when she was under the influence!!! She was daignosed with Hyperthyriodism Before Flash, but ended up crossing the Rainbow Bridge with our help @ age 14 with Mouth Cancer.

What I love about my owners: Mom took such good care of all of us. She was our nurse & comforter when we were sick. She wouldn't have traded a moment of it, except for the heartbreaking times. She loved each of us with all our quirks and made us all feel like we the most special one!!!

My cat hobbies: Precious ~ came with our new house and one day she brought a whole litter of kitties with her!! We found out whose kitty she was packed up the kitties and her and took them back. The next day she was back outside of our house with all the kitties, she had decided for herself!! So we let her & the kitties stay on an outside porch, then found homes for all the kitties. We begged the owner to fix her even offering to pay for it but they did not want to. After two more litters we had finally had enough we told them she was going to be fixed and we were keeping her. We kept two kitties from the last litter because by that time we were having a hard time placing them She was mom to Wench & Tiger. We thought she was about 12-14 years old when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge with our help from renal failure.

Tiger & Wench ~ were very bonded to each other and didn't really bond to the other kitties in the house when moved the whole family inside after building an addition. They even looked like twins, they were both sweet kitty's that never seemed to cause trouble. Tiger whose was 12 yrs old had a stroke and passed @ home within a 24hr period. Wench was diagnosed with mouth cancer and crossed the Rainbow bridge with our help when she was 14.

BooBoo ~ my husband found him in the middle of an intersection his eye's and nose so crusted shut he could hardly breath and couldn't see at all. I applied some warm wash clothes to both nose and eye's but he was struggling. I had to feed him from and eyedropper for about a month until the antibiotics finally helped him to feel better. He was the sweetest bundle of Tuxedo Kitty. He would even purr through nail trimming, I always saved him for last!!! He was diagnosed with a Human Like form of Luekemia, we lost him way to young at the age of 6. Losing this fellow was devastating for me as he was far too young to cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Pet motto: CC ~ She was a calico girl that came to us starving in the middle of winter. She was a sweet kitty and never caused any problems. We noticed that she had gradually started to lose control of herself. We had seen our vet several times about her did all kinds of testing but they could find nothing that would cause this. Gradually she had a harder and harder time walking until she dragged herself around, she had no control of her bowels or urination. She was a happy girl though and didn't seem to know how bad she had it. She had her own room, so the others couldn't pick at her. She crossed the rainbow bridge at age 12

Maui ~ she was a feral kitty that hung around our house for a year before we finally live trapped her. We noticed that she had had kitties under an old car, so we trapped them first and finally was able to lure her with the dog!! She loved her dogs!! I have never seen a cat make it so high on the wall before as the night we let her loose inside the house. But with patience we had a most wonderfully sweet cat she was a buddy!! She was also Tuckers WWF partner, he still misses her very much. She had a siezure and went downhill for 3 weeks, it was very hard to watch and she finally crossed the Rainbow Bridge with our help @ the age of 7.

The loss of one of our furbabies is a pain that only those of who truly understand the beauty of their souls can feel. When our precious little ones leave us it hurts so much that we question why we ever let ourselves love so deeply, then we realize that the joy they bring us is so complete, that we can bear the pain until we are reunited with them when we cross.
