How We Met
A friend found him, after the kitten of 3 weeks old had fallen of a a wall, so he took him home, but his parents wouldn't let him have it, cause he already had a cat. So exactly that they i asked him just like a joke, if he wouldnt give me his cat, cause i really wanted one, and he said actually i just found one today!!!, and he gave it to me that same day : D

Frost on car windshield
November Morning by Evaleen Stein
A tingling, misty marvel
Blew hither in the night,
And now the little peach-trees
Are clasped in frozen light.
Upon the apple-branches
An icy film is caught,
With trailing threads of gossamer
In pearly patterns wrought.
The autumn sun, in wonder,
Is gayly peering through
This silver-tissued network
Across the frosty blue.
The weather-vane is fire-tipped,
The honeysuckle shows
A dazzling icy splendor,
And crystal is the rose.
Around the eaves are fringes
Of icicles that seem
To mock the summer rainbows
With many-colored gleam.
Along the walk, the pebbles
Are each a precious stone;
The grass is tasseled hoarfrost,
The clover jewel-sown.
Such sparkle, sparkle, sparkle
Fills all the frosty air,
Oh, can it be that darkness
Is ever anywhere!

Vote Tiger #221788 for COTD on 6/30!
Tiger #221788 is quite a unique cat; she is usually grumpy on the outside, (which seems to be the only trait she picked up from her mother!) but on the inside she can be sweet and loving. Tiger’s mother was a pregnant stray, looking for a safe place to have her kittens. She soon came upon my Aunts barn, where she gave birth to four kittens, on April 25th. Tiger was kind of the outsider in her family, her siblings were grey, black and calico, her mother was also calico, and Tiger on the other hand was a stunning bright peach. When Tiger’s mother brought in dead birds and mice, Tiger’s siblings would play with it, but Tiger wouldn’t touch it, she would rather play with us. We soon fell in love with Tiger and brought her home on Father’s Day June 17th. Tiger’s bright peach coat turned to a stunning rusty brown, and is continuing to change.
Tiger is now six years old, and never ceases to amaze us with her many sudden burst of energy. Tiger enjoys basking in the sunlight, playing in the corn field, chasing butterflies, and stalking birds. Tiger comes from a long line of tough strays and farm cats, but Tiger doesn’t seem to carry any of those any of those traits! Tiger wakes me up every morning around 7:00AM so I can give her treats; Tiger only has two treats a day because of her corn allergies. And if she isn’t doing any of the above, then she is sleeping.

Mimi a beautiful 11 year old girl and her sister were to be taken to the pound when her future mom said she would take them in. She has now been with her mom for 6 years and loving every minute in her new home. Her favorite toy is a plastic ring from a milk container. She will even bring it to her mom so she can play too.
