Hi Simba Thanks for the birthday and COTD wishes!!!! I had a great birthday yesterday, Mom took me outside to sit in the nice sun, and I had special treats and tuna, overall a great day, sun and napping!!! Purrfect for me!!!! I was so happy I am COTD today, I told Mom I wanted more tuna and to go out with her again, but she said she has to work so ok to tuna, but no to outside (its nice today, but if you can believe it, we are supposed to get a foot of snow tonight and tomorrow ...YUCK) Hope you have a great day!!! Hi Siimba, Welcome to CC Handsome boy. I just love your cream colored coat. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me on my Adopti-Day and COTD Celebration. I'm leaving you an Easter basket filled with colored eggs, a catnip mint Easter bunny and a furry stuffed rabbit to sleep with. On my Adopti-Day 3/27/13, something quite unusual happened! One of the outside kitties that my Mama has been feeding for 10 months was in our heated cat house in the garage with a one week old calico kitten. The funny thing was, Mama thought the Mother cat, Peek-A-Boo, was a boy kitty. She never got close enough for my Mama to tell otherwise. :) She named her Peek-A Boo because she always peeked around the corner at Mama. She noticed Peek-A-Boo suddenly put on a lot of weight and she suspected then that Peek-A-Boo was a girl cat instead of a boy. (No joke)! Then last week, Peek-A-Boo was skinny again. Mama figured that she had kittens and they died. So it was a big surprise when Mama saw her nursing a tiny baby kitten. Our Mama has never bottle fed a kitten, so she hopes Peek-A-Boo will be a good Mom and keep her baby safe in our garage till she gets a little older. I guess Mama's got her work cut out for her now...hee,hee. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter Weekend planned. Come see us again. Percy came to be at her forever home due to the kindness of a neighbor. The neighbor took in Percy's mom cat and once her litter was born, the human daughters at her forever home fell in love with her. Percy #245206 stood out because of her wonderful personality. Percy is a prima donna kitty until it is playtime; then watch out! Percy #245206 loves to play with her sibling, Simba, and she enjoys ambushing him. They have a grand time together playing with their toys and each other. Percy is also a talker. She loves to have a conversation and even comes when her name is called. That is smart since a treat may be involved if your name is being called, and Percy #245206 enjoys Temptation treats. She gets a little upset, though, if she is expecting a treat and she is ignored. Percy #245206 can use her paws like furry hands and manages to open things. Percy likes to sit on the back of the recliner and watch her family as she relaxes and observes what is going on. Mom found Jack & Feather outside while she was helping a neighbor round up her loose puppies. They were tiny kittens, covered with fleas and weighing less than 2 pounds each. Hi Simba Hi thank you for coming by on my COTD. Mom and I are slow on our thankyou's. It will take her a few days but she will get them done,. Mom misses me so much. I was her baby and in the end I started to get frail and mom knew it was my time, I was 17 I had a great life and mom was my one and only. My treat will be human grade tuna fish as that is my favorite meal of all. Question: Why does tuna fish have soy oil in it all of a sudden? I'm suppose to be on no wheat, no corn, no soy no grain diet like a carnivore should be and here the real human tuna fish has soy in it.., Why? We may or may not take our daily short stroll outside but if we do I will be in my stroller and my feet will not even touch the cold snow. I'm getting use to this whole indoor cats thing, although I will be happy to get to my real home and visit all of my favorite outside trees. Hi Simba! Thankyou so much for visiting "Crash" and wishing him well. He's doing better with his pinned broken leg, but the vet didn't fix the other one... he wanted to see how he did first, before he bothered with it. It is really bad, and we don't think he'll be able to keep it! So if his fixed leg gets strong enough, he'll probably get the other one amputated...:( Please keep him in your prayers, he's a really good kitty! We left you a thank you vote, beautiful boy! Simba Darlin Thank you for saying I'm beautiful! You are a very handsome tom youself! I had hoped that my secretary would get her act together, but she has come up with more excuses!! She claims she has to have an ultra-sound on her throat tomorrow & then she has to see the pulmonary Dr again cause she is having breathing problems!! If this is all true, then how come she vacuumed the whole house yesterday (except dad’s room where Cinni is), washed the scatter rugs, did other laundry & watched TV!! Breathing problems don’t have anything to do with getting my kitty mail done. OK, I’ll let her slide for now, but she had better get her act together!! Did you see the sweet present my Sam got me? They are the first 3 pics in my gallery – flowers, I Love You Teddy Bear & a pretty silver locket. My Sam is sooooo good to me. We spent the night dancing away the hours on the sands of Pinto Island to celebrate Lady Dolly & King Mike’s wedding. I am looking forward to meeting more kitties working on the research desk in King Sammy’s wonderful Rainbow Kitties Memorial Library. He is doing such a wonderful job. Leo is telling us about sooooo many new kitty breeds!! It is really very interesting. Some of you have commented on me checking out the curio cabinet of blue cats in my gallery. That is our Angel Lanci in about 1995. Now mom has over 2 curio cabinets full of blue cats!! Some are bigger than I am!! It is only 21 days until we wave goodbye to dad & Cinni as they move into their own place. Mom says never again will she live with anyone but me!! We hope you are enjoying our Angels contest. Mom decided to visit ebay & found a cat temperature gauge to put by the front door so she could see the temp from her computer. Oh goodie, another cat thing around here, just what I need!! Beautiful Kitty Hi, My what a pretty kitty you have there. My Griffin is also this color maybe just a bit darker. did you know this color is called "cream" by the cat breeders. Apparently there are more females than males in this color, so i have been told. My Griffin is a real character unlike his siblings, would you say that about Simba?
