My favorite tricks and treats are: He stands on his hindlegs and reaches up for you. When I have Christmas decorations on doorknobs in my hallway, he runs real fast down the hall and grabs then\m off the doorknob and continues running. and Oatmeal.
Where I hang out: At the end of his human's bed.
My favorite grubs: He likes a snack of tuna and ocean fish wet cat food.
My pet peeves: Don't touch his head.
What I love about my owners: They cater to my every whim.
My cat hobbies: Eat and sleep and watch the birds out the windows.
Pet motto: Keep the food bowl full and everything will be fine.

How We Met
He was a stray and he came by our house on a wet, cold Sunday in March of 2010 with 2 other cats. He stayed and the others went on. It was like he knew he wanted to stay because we had 3 other cats. So, he was so pretty and had such beautiful blue eyes, we decided to make him ours.

John Ronald Reuel Tolkien has gained popularity as of the result of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies and classic books. Born 1/3/1892, it would have been his 121st B-day. He died on 9/2/73.
Tolkien was much inspired by early Germanic, especially Old English, literature, poetry, and mythology, which were his chosen and much-loved areas of expertise.
In The Lord of the Rings, Aragorn uses the cats as a byword for navigation in the dark: Gandalf is surer of finding the way home in a blind night than the cats of Queen Berúthiel. According to Unfinished Tales, Queen Berúthiel had ten cats. The cats were her slaves whom she used as spies.

Hey Houdini & Felix!
Welcome to you two too!! Houdini, you must have some Siamese in you with those blue eyes! Our mom is also a sucker for blue eyes, which is why our family consists of 2 Siamese diva girls, and a big fluffy Ragdoll mix boy! We are all indoor kitties, and 3 is our limit! Ours, not mom's...there is a stray tomcat that lives on our back porch though. Mom feeds him and gave him a warm, cozy bed to sleep in when it's cold...so he's happy, we're happy! However, our mom keeps threatening to take him to get him "fixed"! What does "fixed" mean? We are all "fixed", but our boy doesn't act like it, and he makes us so mad!! You and your gang have a safe, happy holiday! Oh, and we also left votes for you both too! Hi again!
The weather out here, in SF, is typical for this time of year! Yucky! We get basically two seasons in California, wet and dry. We are currently in our wet season, rain! Cold Arctic rain, Pacific storms, cloudy and drizzly when its not raining, like today. At night, it gets all the way down into the low 40's, so we all huddle around the gas fireplace or the furnace vents. We've all been sleeping on the folk's bed at night, instead of scattered around the house. " Three cat night" is what Dad calls it! Can't wait for spring, but our winter usually last through March.

MOL! Funny you should mention that. Because we seem to have the same problem with OUR humans! Silly primates!
Turns out that just because I got caught chewing on some Mylar tinsel, they decided to forgo it this year! They also put all unbreakable ornaments on the bottom half of the tree, after literally taping the tree down to the floor with painters tape, and doing the same with the cord to the tree lights! Dad left the little people figures out of this year's Christmas train layout, because last year he found them all over the house! But hey, isn't that what it's for? Sheesh, humans!

Christmas decorations
I don't understand why my owners get all upset when I maybe knock down a few decorations off of the bottom branches on the Christmas tree. Or when I walk past the Nativity scene and the Three Wiseman are knocked down. I hear they don't use tinsel anymore because one of their first cats they had years ago, named Tony, swallowed some tinsel, and it came out awkwardly, so NO MORE TINSEL. Last year, my owners didn't have their old Christmas tree in the holder tight enough and they deocrated it and I just thought I would try to take one of the decorations off of the tree and it fell over with a loud crash, old decorations broke!!! I ran and hid after that incident. But I was forgiven since it was not my fault technically. We have a new tree and it is so nice to lay under.Come visit me, Felix, Angus, Ginger & Houdini.
