My favorite tricks and treats are: I can make food disappear in a nano-second! Also...when I'm happy about being petted, I kick myself in the head! and ANYTHING!
Where I hang out: The cat tree in my room and under the bed.
My favorite grubs: ANYTHING!
My pet peeves: Being ALONE! Mom giving me those awful breathing treatments for my sinus problems. BUT...I must admit, I'm breathing SO MUCH BETTER NOW! And I'm running with everyone else now, too!
What I love about my owners: She and Dad have given me a new home where I have LOTS of room to run and play and I don't have to push other kitties out of the way for food. I have as much food as I want, a nice spot to sleep in the sun and when I feel brave, I let Mom and Dad pet me. I DO like being petted...but seeing people approach me is still quite scary.
My cat hobbies: Being with other kitties, although my new family doesn't seem all that happy to see me. I hope I can make friends with them, especially Mocha. But Mocha doesn't seem to be real happy with me. She's not as friendly as I would have liked her to be. She hisses at me when I get too close. BUT...I was wrong about that rascal Piper. He and I are becoming friends. And sometimes that BIG Sebastian will run and play with us as well.

How We Met
Dreamer was one of 17 rescued pedigreed Tonkinese cats that were taken from a breeder/hoarder situation. She was in a shelter for 1 month, then transferred to Wisconsin with a rescue group where she was held in foster care for 1 month before being listed on their website. I heard about the rescue on Facebook and when I read the description of Dreamer's personality, I thought she might be the one who would fit into our kitty family. I drove up to Wisconsin to pick her up and brought her back home all the same day. It was a VERY VERY long day and drive.

Sorry that mom has so much going on. Hope grandpa feels better soon too. Do the other kitties in the house wear harnesses? If not, purhaps mom could put one on 'em whenever she lets you out so that they won't worry about you so much? Mom's catsitter, Tina, started putting a collar along with a leash on one of her kitties who constantly followed one of her other cats. Of course, she wouldn't leave kitty with leash unless supervised. Maybe some Feliway would help? Those are pheromones that are supposed to help calm us down. Mom could also bring you out and put the others in your room so that they can get used to your smell...mom may have already tried all of these tricks. You're so pretty and you look so very sweet so we hope that everyone will adjust soon. Hope you have a catastic day...I'm sending you a dozen catnip cookies to help you get the day started.

Sweet fur friend, I'm sorry for the delay on my meow mail. Mom started on a kitchen project last week and while she had expected for it to take a day or two, it turned into a five day project...and she's still not done. Needless to say, she hasn't had much time for ME.
You surely are a pretty girl and I'm glad that mom put some more picturesof you on your profile. Great that you're feeling better and great that you've finally met the other fursibs. Hope that the meetings are going better now than they were. Sometimes those 'old' kitties don't like 'intruders'. Looks like you are purfectly happy by yourself but that's probably not what mom had in mind. I feel sure that the other kitties there will adjust and I hope that you've already done just that. How long have you been with your new family? Hope you've had a meowellous day.

The temperature was high 45 & low was 35 this morning, now it's 45 feels like 48 with humidity 73% & wind is 3 MPH. Sunday's suppose to be Rain & High 50.

♥ Well, mom has been keeping a close watch over me since she let me back outside Friday morning. If she can't see me then she starts looking for me til she finds me! Gosh mom, give me a break and quit hovering over me! MOL! I'm doing good! NeuBee 123633 and Suzee 11528 keeps me warm at night as all three of us cuddle in one comfy bed on the patio couch! Mom thinks we're cute! Mom added one more picture in my gallery of me eating in bed on the patio couch today.
♥ This will be my last message for awhile. Mom and I really do appreciate all the prayers and support you have given for me. We will be back late tomorrow evening after mom and dad gets back from their 34th Anniversary Dinner.

39 ~ TORTURE, HUMILIATION & PICTURES ~
The temperature was high 46 & low was 32 this morning, now it's 46 with humidity 87% & wind is 0 MPH. Saturday's suppose to be Fog & High 45.

♥ Hey everyone, it's me again! JAZPYR!
Mom went and done it! She has NO SHAME! If a bath wasn't enough for her, now she had to humiliate me last night as well! I thought it was awfully strange with all the litter box covers off and just setting next to the boxes! She waited for me to get in one to go pee and as I was just starting to go, she grabbed my tail and pulled up on it a little then had me pee in a Dixie cup! When she got close to 1/2 a cup, she let go of my tail so I finished going then split! What nerve she has! TORTURE THURSDAY it was for sure! Then she put plastic wrap over the cup and into a Ziplock baggie then she put it in the refridgeator for the night.
♥ This morning, mom did her morning kitty chores then woke dad up to let him know she was leaving. She took my pee sample in first thing and dropped it off then she had several errands before coming back home. By time mom did get back, Dr. Liz already called and talked to dad with my results. My Thyroid test, Urinalysis and Blood work was all purr*fect! Nothing medically is wrong with me. Dr. Liz told dad that we just need to get the fleas under control! Mom would love to flea bomb the house and in 2 weeks after to do it again, but that can't happen cuz mom has no where warm to keep us all for about 4 hours. Mom did put Frontline for Dogs Plus on us inside kitties today plus had some for a few of the outside kitties, too!
♥ Mom did get my bath pictures edited today and also added 5 into my picture gallery for viewing! She also changed my profile photo to my after bath picture.

You poor dear, I'm so sorry that you had to go back for yet another shot. That's really strange that the Convenia is not doing the trick. I wonder if ear drops might work? At least help with inflammation? I know that your mom really wants you to feel better and I bet that you'd like the same but surgery doesn't sound like a very attractive option to me either. You still have a discharge? Our two Ts (Tank and Tuxie) that were both very sick continued to sneeze for a while after arriving at the Cathouse. Mom had both on Lysine for a couple of weeks and they're fine now. They never had a colored discharge but their eyes were runny. Your immune system is probably just not quite strong yet...after all you grew up in what I'd call a stressful environment. Healing purrs your way.

Your mom is introducing you slowly and that's great but I know that you are ready to be out and about. It must be a very pesky cold you have since it's taking so long for you to shake it. Is mom still giving you Lysine? I hope you feel better soon...just ignore the hisses and growls.

Oh, your mom is doing great with the introductions. Kudos to her! I bet that it was very scary for that door to be open all of a sudden. Mom uses baby gates sometimes, in fact she stacked two on top of each other last time we got adopted by Tank and Tuxie (both kitties were at a high kill shelter and both were pulled in the nick of time). Anyway, both came down with Panleukopenia (parvo in doggies) and were very sick. One spent 9 days at the ER vet and the other one spent 5 days at the regular vet. Panleuk generally is fatal so both kitties have already used a couple of their 9 lives. They recovered completely, thankfully, and joined this house back in November. Anyway, mom stacked two gates and Tank climbed both like it was nothing. He's the only one who's ever even attempted that kind of climb. I'm so glad that you have a room of your own, one that's secure for you. Hope your weekend has been pawsome.

An ARmFUL OF PURRS...

Hope by the weekend you'll get to be introduced to the fursibs. We have three cats here and one gets Lysine powder disguised in her food daily. That's Gracie Twinkle-toes. She has a runny eye that gets black gunky if she doesn't get her medicine.

That's a most heartwarming story. We are happy to hear that all of the kitties were pulled, spayed and neutered. Good job by the Humane Society. Does doc have you on antibiotics? Are you getting any better? Poor dear, I feel sure that the rest of your fursibs are awaiting meeting you too. I'm glad to hear that you're comfortable enough now to let mom love on you. Just curious...how did mom come upon you? Did your ex-catmom have to surrender since she had so many kitties or were you advertised? You're very pretty and we're so glad that you've found yourself a mice new family. Awwwww...how sweet that you let your new mom rub your belly. Sounds like you're adjusting micely to your new family? Sorry that you had to go to the V-E-T but your mom is just trying to get you feeling better so that you can meet your new fursibs. When mom caught me initially, doc thought that I was feral 'cause I was hissing and spitting. Mom wasn't sure what to do with me but once at the Csthouse and once comfortable with the bathtub (MOL)--that's where I stayed in the bathroom, I started enjoying the attention. These days I cannot get enough, it seems...attention and kibble. Happy Friday.

It's always difficult initially to move to a new house. Of course your URI doesn't make things any easier but we're hoping that you will feel better very soon. Is mom giving you Lysine? Thanks for stopping by to visit me! You are right. I am very lucky to have my new Mom and my new home. I love to look out the window and watch the birds and squirrels. I hope you can leave your room soon. The staff at the shelter where I lived told my Mom to keep me in a small room at first when I came to my new home. However, I wanted to check everything out, so Mom let me explore right away and I felt at home within an hour of coming here. Mom didn't have any other cats, though, so I didn't have to adjust to siblings. Mom says it's going to snow tonight. She hurt her wrist and is on driving restrictions...that means if it does snow, Mom will be at home with me. The Dr. says she isn't allowed to drive in snow right now. Guess what? I sure do hope it snows! I love being with my Mom all the time! Have a good day!

The temperature was high 40 & low was 28 this morning, now it's 38 with humidity 73% & wind is 0 MPH. Today's suppose to be Fog & High 37.

♥ Well, mom still gets woke up during the wee hours every morning mostly by WHYSKRS 10378 and I have been in the action, too, with my meows. Of course, mom always gets up and gives us food then she lays back down to TRY to sleep more til more meows about an hour later. Tehehehe!!!! Some of you say mom should ignore us, but she can't as she's a very light sleeper and most all sounds will wake her!!!!
♥ CARLY [#11000 DC] didn't want to eat this morning, which she does most mornings anymore. About noon today, Carly got sick and threw up which was only liquid form. She did eat some of her Prescription Diet w/d dry food late this afternoon, but not much. She did eat most of her 1/2 can of Prescription Diet w/d this evening.
♥ I did get my morning lap time on mom then it was Whyskrs turn. Mom also has been cutting the fur mats off of Whyskrs when she can. She has to do sneaky cuts til he figures out what's happening then he starts in with his growling and hissing at mom.
♥ Mom finally changed my profile photo this afternoon to an updated 2013 picture!!!!

Mom says she doesn't know what to say about the socializing other than keeping you in a room to yourself and maybe letting the others come in to meet you with full supervision from your momma. ♥ It's me again; Bahneetah! Mom went to Wal*Mart this morning to xchange the headache pills for migraine pills since she grabbed the wrong ones the other day.
♥ It's been foggy here all day and never got above freezing! It didn't matter to me and mom heard about it as I kept meowing! She kept saying that it was still freezing and that I was not going out! Well, I meowed so much and wouldn't shut up that mom finally took me outside in the front yard for a few minutes! MOL!
♥ CLARIFICATION: We have noticed that our update about CARLY [#11000 on DC] may have confused some of you.
Carly should be eating her Prescription Diet w/d can food twice a day (not once a day) plus at each feeding she should have 1/2 a can, but she's only eating maybe 1/2 a can in a day (not good)!
