I am writing to you today about our Mouse Hockey League. Many of your friends have enjoyed playing this new sport with us this past season. Our players are young and old, male and female, and breeds of all types. If you are a live cat, you are eligible. We are expanding the league size this year and are looking for many new kitties to make up the new teams. All games are simulated by computer, so your physical presence is NOT mandatory at game time. Many cats check the game results later to see how their team fared and to check out their personal performance. If you would like your CC membership to be more exciting and are looking for greater interaction with other kitties, mouse hockey may be your answer. New teams are forming NOW. If you are interested, please visit Scamper's page (#39429) for more information. Since Scamper currently has his hands full with early returns by new recruits, I am helping him, for the time being, by sending out more solicitations and organizing the responses, allowing his efforts to be more efficient. Please reply to ME with your questions or to sign up. If two kitties from your household wish to play, please indicate if they prefer the same team assignment or if they would prefer to compete on separate teams. (If you wish to be a goalie for your team, you might mention that, also.) We will try to accommodate any special requests you may have. I know I have been soooo missing in action lately. I have to admit I need hep with my blogs. Being a Maine Coon with somewhat large feeties, I often hit two keys at once....that's right, accounts for the odd spelling at times...
Mom has been SOOO busy with her mom that I hardly get any play time at all...wipes tear from cheek with hankie. The good news is that grammy is doing OK...The bad news is that OK is not as good as before and requires more time.......I mean, like moreeeeeeee than mommy can deal with at times.......

Thank you Tessy for voting for me for COTD! I am still meowless! When Mom turned on the computer and saw the notice that I had earned COTD she was in shock as I hadn't even campained yet for this wonderful award. She woke me and picked me up and danced around the room with me. She was so thrilled and proud. I didn't know what was going on. Later she opened a can of crab meat for me to celebrate this wonderful day! And it fell on my human cousin's 25 th birthday so we will always remember the date. Please let me thank all my fur friends and every other kitty who voted for me. I greatly appreciate your friendship. I can't even describe how honored I am. Certainly Uncle will still get new pictures up. It means so much to me and Mom to have all the support and friendship we have with so many wonderful kitties and their parents. I see the photo with the hat, the antlers, it is adorable! But to join the red hat club you need a red or pink hat. Pink is for girls 7 and under and red is for 7 and older,Tessy can have either but Tammy needs a pink one. You can use a bow maybe if you can't find a hat. Love,

Took mom 10 hours to get home from Boston today. It's 1 and 1/4 hr usual drive. The governor took it unpon himself to declare 1PM the official get out of work time due to the foot or so of snow......Hence everyone was on the highway at once......plows didn't have a chance, or sanders....cars were all over the place when folks just ran out of gas and left them.........oh twas a horror........next came the driveway.....dad goes to rev up the snow blower for the first time this year........mommy goes to get the key...and OOPS no key........somehow it fell out of the closet where it was supos eto be and fell behind the dryer......Mom got the fireplace tongs...and crawled up on the sink to get reach down behind the dryer with daddy holding the flickering flashlight......mommy sure looked funny cramped up on the dryer, squished under the closet ....mommy finally got the key....and the spare......She left the spare on the window sill and put away the yardstick.......came back, and I guess I made it into a toy, as it was gone!!!
daddy did the driveway, and mommy went out to remind him not to run over the wires to the grazing lighted reindeer.......OOPS to late!! daddy cut that nicely.........well, the driveway is clear, all is home........we just need a trip to the super discount store to pick up more outdoor cords and a better flashlight........me, Santa Paws is suppose to find the missing key!!!
