How We Met
My mommy was at a low point in her life and decided she needed to adopt two kittens. She already had our names picked out from a line in the Beatles song "Rocky Raccoon". She just had to find us. She went to the Animal Care Council where she adopted me and my sister LIL. We brought sunshine back in her life and made her happy again.

A Powerful Rumble Fills the Air
Is it an Earthquake? Is it Thunder? No it’s the powerful rumbling sound of eight beautifully painted motorcycles, cruising down the street they’re all heading for The Magil & Lil’s driveway and pulling in to share Adoptiversary Wishes with Magil & Lil and their mom.
The helmets come off to reveal Zoe Monique, Cyndee, Mallow, Q. Lola, Ammie, Dasher, Talley, and Thunderfoot, Kali and Elvis, all of the Hairballz Rainbow Riders.
On the back of the bikes are flags representing their two lost honorary members, Doodlebug and Yum Yum
they all dismount and in turn, they present Magil & Lil with cards and brightly wrapped gifts. There are feather toys, catnip teasers, bouquets of Balloons, Vanilla catnip cake, with mice cream cups and boxes of Kitty safe Chocolates. There is also a bouquet of white roses for Magil & Lil’s Mom
Talley and Dasher unfurl a big banner with “Happy Adoptiversary Magil & Lil” emblazoned on it. They all exchange hugs & purrs with Magil & Lil& her mom and get back on their bikes to head out to their next destination for the day.

The temperature was high 66 & low was 53 this morning, now it's 66 with humidity 50% & wind is 8 MPH N. Monday's suppose to be Sunny & High 74.

♥ Honoring our fur mama, BABY KNIGHT'S 13286 Three Year Forever Sleep on Monday, May 20th!!!!
Baby was mama to most of us Knight Kitties. You can see the list of ALL Baby's Children on her page 13286 in her BIO section.
♥ Well, the Yard Sale is over til after the first of June, but not the work for mom and dad as they will still be going thru the storage shed next with throwing things away and saving things for the next sale!!!! The last two days of the sale never even made $40 for both days!!!!
♥ Mom and dad has been doing a bunch of weeding in the front yard in between customers during the sale and rain. Today, mom went in the back yard and scooped out the big 3X5 (used to be 5X5) sand`litter box then she got her new weedeater assembled, as she had to take the other one back to Wal*Mart then went to Lowes and got one there instead. She got the front yard weedeated then she mowed the front yard.
♥ Mom did open dad's bedroom window this morning so we could be out in the cattery. It was nice getting the fresh air.

Oh, I was so happy to see your blog! I hope you had a great St. Patty's Day! Did you wear your green? Your Mom told Aunt Mary that she had been away and that you guys had the run of the house. That is TOO cool! When Mom and Aunt Mary went away for the weekend, they got Aunt Pat to watch me. I'm 6 years old! I'm not a baby anymore. I am sure I could have stayed on my own, but they would have none of that. I think they are just a bit overprotective!
I loved our celebration in Q-Land. I never saw so much green! It helps that it is already spring there and that the weather is beautiful - lots of green grass already! Did you try the Irish Soda Bread I made? I hope you liked it. I prefer it with Craisins instead of raisins. I hope you did too.
I think the best way to get into see Grammy Lee is if we could both hide in Mom's shoulder bag. She has this satchel that I think we could both fit in. Aunt Mary and Mom just got my paperwork from the vet, so I think the first nice day, they are going to attempt to take me. If they do, I will scope out the place, and let you know how we can sneak in.

Thanks so much for coming by to wish me a HB! I had a really great birthday with special Fancy Feast Appetizer treats! I gobbled them up so fast! I hope Mom and Aunt Mary get me more of those, that's for sure!
I am guessing Lil wasn't too happy that the pinata was shaped like her. It was fun to whack it and get all of the treats inside though! I had the best time in Q-Land celebrating with you!
Too bad the box wouldn't close. Grammy Lee would have been so happy to have gotten you in the mail! I bet it would have made her all misty - happy tears.

Oh you poor thing, having your Pop there at your house all the time. Nana won't let PawPaw retire because she said all he will do is watch t.v. and play golf & get in her way.

How was your weekend? It rained here all weekend. Although we needed the rain☂ we did not like the scary winds & thunderstorms. The big winds knocked down a huge limb in our backyard. It fell on & broke our angel sister Dot’s memorial monument. Mommy was so upset. She has already called Brookhaven Monument to get a replacement made. Thank goodness they still carry that same monument.

I think having you chase Lil around would really liven things up around here! Grammy would laugh so hard. Poor Lil.
Grammy Lee is hanging in there. Mom, Aunt Mary and Aunt Pat went to the elder care lawyer today to get some more info. I think Grammy Lee is going to be home a little longer, as there is still legal stuff to do.I'm okay with that, it is just that I think it gets herder for her the longer she is home. At least she has the VNS for 9 weeks. That should be good until she goes to her new home.
I asked for a brother too. I got "the look" from Aunt Mary and Mom. Hmm. I wonder what the problem is?
