My favorite grubs: This page is to honor Angel Herbie and Angel Lexi.Angel Lexi got her COTD on March 22,2008/ Lexi was left at the door in a box at the North Shore Animal Leauge, NY At age 15.She was loved by all the volunteers and kennel staff.My owner, Karen drove to NY after seeing her ad on Abyssinian rescue. She developed Colon Cancer shortly after we adopted her. She died on June 12,2007 at age 15.
My pet peeves: He hated to take pills. So I hid them in his baby food
What I love about my owners: She nursed me every day keeping me a live. Daily breathing treatments and SQ neck fluids for my kidney failure. She even researched if I could get a kidney transplant. She never gave up on me!

How We Met
He was rescued along with Maggie Mae they we buds. They were rescued from certain death.This elderly couple here in Southern Maine travel up and down the coast adopting pure bred cats that were not perfect and slated for death. They loved and spay/neuter all of them. The only problem is they kept them. After 170 cats they needed help with the burden. I am so thankful to them both.Other wise I would have never had him in my life. maggie is the only connection I have with Herbie!

Nine motorcycles come thundering down the street. All are Harleys, such beautiful machines shining in the sunlight.
The pull into the driveway of Dear Angel Herbie, get off their bikes and take off their helmets. Zoe Monique, Cyndee, Thundie, Mallow, Q. Lola, Ammie, Talley, Dasher and Kali go tho Angel Herbie's front door. Kali rings the bell. When the door is answered by Angel Herbie's Mom, each member of the Hairballz gives her a huge kitty hug and Zoe Monique gives her a beautiful bouquet if white roses mixed with babys breath.
We came by to honor the crossing of your sweet furrbaby Angel Herbie today. We hope you have many sweet memories that put a huge smile on your face today.

Once again, I thank you all for making me 2nd place. I just received my 2013 Box Calendar published by Cat Fancy on Saturday afternoon mail! How xciting!
Mom was feeding all of us outside kitties the other night when two big raccoons came around. Teakee 25544 was eating her kibbles on the feeding table next to the old Studebaker truck when a coon scared her out of there and also Sausha 22506 was eating her kibbles in her bed when she, too, was scared out of her bed. Mom chased the coons off, but could not get the two girls to eat anymore that night! Mom's keeping close watch when she comes out to feed us again. Mom's not afraid of those coons and will protect us with all she has!

PLZ vote MARIE’S TUMBLEWEEDS #238074 Mon 10/29 This week’s special recognition kitties are the 4 of 5 furbabies left behind after their beloved mom Marie was called by the angels after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. The TUMBLEWEEDS #238074…Itsy Bitsy (F-14), Add-a-Line (F-10) , Rusty Buckets (M-9) and Blondie (F-9)…were well known by their new furever family before they came to live with them. Their previous ‘owner’ was known for her gentle, kind & loving approach as each day dawned anew, yet the torment in her eyes about the welfare of her fubabies when she feared “something might happen to her” , was obvious to her dear furiends when they talked to her. They put her mind at ease one day when they agreed to take all of her precious kitties if anything happened & it lifted her spirits to give her the peace of mind that all human feline parents deserve. About a week before their mom was called to the angels she placed a call to her dear furiends & said… "It’s time my friend, please come get them because I can't care for them and spend time with them the way they deserve". This was heartbreaking news for the kitties, but also for the dear furiends because they knew she wouldn’t give them up unless she had no other choice. And so they came into their new furever home where they’re loved dearly, just as their angel mom intended! They got their group name when their fur came out during grooming time & rolled into little balls that kept skirting around the room, just like tumbleweeds. It made their new parents laugh to watch it & from that moment forward they were known as MARIE’S TUMBLEWEEDS #238074. Itsy Bitsy & Add-a-Line had the most trouble adjusting to their new home but eventually they settled into a quiet, normal routine & have come to love their new parents just as much as their fursibs. Not only would we like to honor MARIE’S TUMBLEWEEDS #238074 today but also the loving mom they lost & their new adoring parents. Mom and me want to thank you all so very much for the votes you gave me which made my ACOTD possible and for all the wonderful words of congratulations. We treasure you as a very special friend. It was a party of celebration here at the Casa Grande Gang's home Caturday. All our past angels of our family, including me, of course, Angel Darling Girl, came down from our
clouds to party with all the present kitties of the CG Gang - mom says we are "rowdy" when we all get together, but we have lots of fun. Our speciality of the day was pinatas filled with all kinds of goodies we kitties love. We hope you were able to come by and

The temperature was high 71 & low was 56 this morning, now it's 69 with humidity 81% & wind is 7 MPH WSW. Wednesday's suppose to be Partly Sunny☼ & High 67.

♥ Dad has been helping his sister with some yard work the last couple days. Mom has been working in our yard with weeding still and clipping off old roses & trimming bushes back. Mom took 4 pictures yesterday and just added them in my picture gallery. You can see she still has lots of weeding to do!!!! Tehehehe!!!! You can also see me in one window and Sassee 10605 in the other window watching mom. Tehehehe!!!!
♥ Do you remember when our ♥ PAPPOOSE 10366 ♥ was COTM Queen in February 2012 and she did a bit on Crater Lake, Oregon???? Well, Crater Lake officially opened the North entrance as well as their Lodge yesterday. Crater Lake is a beautiful lake in the mountains.
♥ There has been 51 cats and 15 dogs brought to Oregon Shelters from California this week due to Oregon's better with adoption success.
♥ Mom has entered me in another contest, but this isn't just for me, as the most beautiful girl is in it with me who happens to be my loving girlfriend Sissy Lee & we are asking if you will vote for us???? Our number is #1. Voting is 6/10 thru 6/30 on the Contest page #218553.
