HaHaHa. I couldn't help but laugh at you and your encounter with the ice! I can just picture you all splayed out on that cold ole stuff and trying to get up! MOL. Sorry, but I just couldn't resist rubbing it in a little.
Our snow is about all gone. Just a few tiny patches here and there. We were supposed to get some light rain and snow showers today, turning to all rain after midnight tonight. But it didn't happen. But then, we were also supposed to get up to about 45 and all it got to was 36. Dad says he wishes he could get paid big bucks for being wrong at work over half the time. HeeHee
Sure hope your Mom gets to feeling better, soon. She's a very strong lady to be able to put up with all that pain for so long. My Mom doesn't know if she could do that, or not. She'd probably say "Give me drugs!". MOL. Maybe not, though. She had a lot of pain from shoulder surgery a few years ago and she did okay. But the shoulder got better every day. Not like your Mom. Her pain seems to go up and down like a yo-yo. Uh..Mom said that, I don't even know what a yo-yo is. Anyway, we are all still praying for her to feel better.
Well, if you are expecting more bad weather, Spongie, you better stay inside, or get some ice skates! MOL.
We wouldn't want you to lose your back or your butt! So, take care of your Mom and be nice to your siblings.

Hello Dear Spongie!! It´s Lola!!
Good evening,my sweet furfriend!! Mommy and I hope your Momma is feeling better now. We were so sorry to read that she had a bad night. I´m sure all the Angel theraphy and also your purr therapy is helping her a lot. Please tell your Mom that we´re all sending her a bunch of purrs too. And a very big kiss from our Mommy as well.
This is your friend Lola writing to you. It´s a lovely day in Buenos Aires. We had rains during the entire weekend. But Mr.Sun came back this morning and we´re now having around 78F. Mom says she loves weather like that. And we love it too!!
We had three big storms last week and the power went off twice. That was quite scary and Mommy brought those curious lights that she calls "candles".
Mom and Dad are leaving for their summer vacations next Friday 12th February. Their bus leaves at 08.00 pm and they will be reaching Mendoza on Saturday around 09.30 am. Momma told us she still has lots of things to do regarding her trip and because of that; we may not be able to blog again until our pawrents come back on 22nd February. Mommy told us Mendoza is an Argentinian province placed about 1000 km far from home. That´s a big distance!!- I thought.
Although we may not be writing to our precious friends during these days (and we´re going to miss you all soooo much!!) Mom promised us to vote daily for COTD and COTM.
Granny is coming back from her vacations next Wednesday just in time to take care of us while Mom and Dad are gone. And she´s also coming home with her Momma (our great grandmother). We like this lady quite a lot because she always spoil us and brush our hair!!
We hope you all have a wonderful Monday and a purrfect week!! Please,know that we love you a lot and that you´re always in our thoughts and in our hearts.

What's up with you today? Icy outside huh? Most of our snow is gone for now but I bet you have a lot more left. Sitters (cat sitters that is) are not at the top of my list of favorite people. For one thing, my "sitter" never sits! The "sitter" is always going from place to place "taking care of things." HUMBUG! A "sitter" should at least be required to walk around in a sort of sitting position to earn the name. Pitiful how it tries to coax me out of a bush. Like I am going to budge! Give me a break! When the back of the "sitter" is turned, I creep silently and carefully along the wall and ensconce myself in some place that is impossible to reach. Ha! The "sitter" sometimes tries to give me treats. I only put my nose in the air and hold my tail high, and hope that the treats will be thrown in my direction. (Alright, I will take a treat from anyone remotely known to me.) At least, the "sitter" never sits on me.

Hi Sponge & The Gang,
Today is another partly cloudy with some sun. Temperatures are still around 45 daytimes. No storms near us. Excitements have occurred the last 2 nights with the ambulance coming both nights. First party broke her leg and is in the hospital, last night it was a visitor to one of the residents. I have played with my mouse and fell off the tree trying to get it, I have played with the Bug Chaser a couple of times. After I learn how to make each thing go, I lose interest. I still like the mouse. Mom made chicken stew; the apartment has a nice smell.
The migrating birds are just now started to show up in Idaho.

How was your weekend? We had a purrfect time, especially since the Saints won the Super Bowl & Mommy won $25 in her office Super Bowl lottery. Also, I got a new laser toy with 8 different shapes. So far I like the butterfly best. Mommy bought it at Walmart. It was supposed to be my Valentine present, but I got it early. Hope your Monday is meow-velous! Oh Spongie I think tomorrow most of us kits on the East coast are gonna be getting more nasty snow again. Can you believe this Winters weather? I sure hope this next bout of bad weather isn't as bad as the last and we all stay safe & cozy & warm!
Mom Lynn we hope you feel better today, my momma is dizzy today. She thinks she's getting a cold, she's sneezing and feels lightheaded. And her tummy is making funny noises. We're gonna make her stay in bed for the afternoon with us kits.
Hope you are all warmed up now Spongie. It sure is cold and windy here. Mom just warmed up lunch for the ferals and heated their water too. Mom worries about them with the next storm. Hope your outside furiends are good so far.

I'm sooo happy Mr. Sun is out for you, Spongie, and what's this??? You slid on the snow and goodness...I'm sure you were a sight...tee hee...I can't help it Spongie...I'm not laughing at you, I'm just giggling. :) I guess we can call you Spongie, the ice skating kitty. MOL
Guess what we have this morning….Snow!! When Mom got up this morning, it was dry and after her shower, she looked out and saw a little white stuff…a little while later, it was coming down in buckets! We’re shocked, because our forecast was for temps around 50 today and here we are with SNOW. It came down in buckets for a couple of hours and we have about 2 inches here at our house. However, it’s lightening up and we’re hoping to see Mr. Sun later to melt it.
I sent Mom out early in the snow to put lots of seed into my bird feeders. They are ready and waiting for all of them to come and get it and I am in my favorite chair with my little flag and my whistle ready to go, because I’m sure that the squirrels and the chipmunks will be coming out soon, too!
I hope you and the Gang have a wonderful day and lots of fun playtime.
Mom and I also are happy to hear that Mom Lynn is feeling a little better this morning and we hope she continues to feel better today. I'm sending her a huge feel-better hug and Mom is continuing to keep her in her prayers.

This morning the temperature is 39 with the humidity at 100% and the wind is Calm. Today is suppose to be Cloudy & 54.
We have a FOGGY morning right now.

Mom never got our bedding washed yesterday since it wasn't too nice out and a little on the cool side. She didn't want to make us get out of our beds.
Sunday morning, mom heard a little growling on the monitor and seen that it was NeuBee 123633 growling and then a little hiss at Sylvr Tuff 160205 as Sylvr wanted to play. NeuBee didn't want to play with nor cares for Sylvr. Sylvr decided to push it a little more so NeuBee walked far and around her just so she could come on the patio. Sylvr watched with her little butt a wiggling then she gave up.
Last night, mom came out to feed us one last time, about 11:00, and me, Sausha, Baby, Kittzi and Sylvr stayed in bed. When she got back to the patio to finish up with the rest of the outside kitties on food, Sylvr and Kittzi were at the patio watching mom and all. Sylvr, of course was looking to play so mom played with her on the patio as mom has a wand toy tied to the small kitty tree and a toy on the end of the wand's string. Kittzi watched mom moving it about for Sylvr so she came to play as well. They went on after while checking things out so mom went inside. Kittzi and Sylvr came back later and played on the kitty trees and mom seen them so she grabbed the laser and they both went after it. Mom had lots of fun.
Mom has to call the vet clinic this morning to order a tube of Revolution for Aunt Samantha 15442 for her second dose to help rid those earmites. Her third eyelid is still about the same. No real change.
Mom changed my profile photo last night and also changed Sylvr Tuff's 160205 profile photo.

Are you practicing for the Olympics, Spongie? Out there ice skating this morning! It sounds like your weather hasn't been too nice the past couple of days. At least Mr. Sun will be coming out today? You sound like you have been up to your old tricks - whacking Buddy and chasing Baby - she is just too fast for you, huh! I'm glad you have your bag, treats, been playing with Mr. PomPom Legs and have him hidden away for safe keeping. I like that you say you have been behaving for your Mom so she will get better; however, I don't think having a running spree through the house sending rugs, toys, and food all over the place is quiet on the mark....teehee
Maybe Mr. Sun will come out, and you can take a nap in your favorite spot on Mom's bed!

Hi Spongie and All Your Family!
Wow, we cn't even imagine all the snow you all have been getting! We wish we could see you when your Mom opens the door for you and you step out into a snow drift, MOL! We are keeping your Mom in our prayers and hope her toothache problems will soon be gone.
Our house got a roof leak and caused a big stain on our dining room ceiling. Mom and Dad had the roof leak fixed, then they replaced and painted the new sheet rock ceiling. That made the walls look dingy, so they painted them too! Mom said "now we need a new tablecloth", so she got one in sage green and also a new pink table runner for the center. All of us kitties love it and think this is our new kitty bed, MOL! I took a high dive from the top of the cat tree and landed in the middle of the table. It made a huge snag in the green fabric which did not please Mom, not one bit. But all of us love something new, and we've enjoyed the new tablecloth! Hugs, purrs, and a vote for you! Hey Pal!
I didn't quite get to make it over yesterday.. Mom was coming down with a cold and while she was watching her TV movies in bed, she fell right asleep. I was out in the living room with Dad watching the Superbowl and even though I was meowing like crazy to get in MOm's room, she was out cold and didn't hear me. In fact, Dad went in Mom's room to say hi and saw that she was snoring away (hee.hee.) Mom says that she does NOT snore.. But I think Dad and I both know differently. At least Mom got plenty of rest and I was hoping she would be up to chasing me around the apt. but she is still in bed! I guess she still needs more rest and so I will be nice to MOm.. In fact, this morning I was trying hard to be a nice companion to Mom and found a comfortable spot on the foot of her bed.. But then MOm had to be funny and put a little scarf on my head. Well, that didn't sit well with me, so I jumped off the bed and decided to continue my morning snooze in the living room under MY chair.. (hee.hee).
Even though we got NO SNOW.. the other day, there is still hope. Now, they are staying that we may get in quite a bit of it on Tuesday night.. I am keeping my paws crossed, but it will be something if it does manage to snow here. THe hot air around the city somehow works to keep the snow away so we rarely if ever get any snowfall to talk about. STILL, I sit by the window and look hopefully out.. Mr. Wormie joins me and I think he has been much less stressed out lately since the shortage of wormies to eat.. Feather and Featherette have been quite the lovebirds...probably since Valentine's Day is coming up.. As for Laser...well even he has a girlfriend..Laserette (hee.hee).. Makes me think of my dear Kali... ah..love is in the air!! (hee.hee.)..

Thanks on the congratulations for Nickie! She celebrated hard (no thanks to me... I was pretty bad this weekend). She got 3 new squeaky toys shaped like animals and a pack of dried chicken strips that she didnt have to share with me :(
I threw up all over her stuffed turtle on Saturday. Nope, didnt get any on any of my toys, just her turtle.... :) So she spent saturday trying to give me away to her new friends on DC. There weren't any takers for some reason though..... :) Well, have a great day and I will talk to you later!!!Come visit me, Remus.

It is very cold here in Connecticut today and the weatherman is saying we are going to get a big snow storm Wednesday. Everyone here is hoping it will just miss us like the last one or just give us a few inches and not feet. Everyone at Mom's office is saying if we get the big one this time no one is coming into the office. At least I will have Mom home with me if it does hit us. Praying that Mom Lynn's tooth gets better this is no fun when your teeth hurt. Hope you are having a great Monday, stay warm and save. What a terrific game, edge of the seat action - Momma even stayed and watched the half-time entertainment, 'cause she luvs the intro music on the CSI shows!
Did you see the live shots from Bourbon St. last night? So crowded, no one could hardly move - the reporter commented that they would probably STILL be there for Madri Gras!
Also, we now have more weather to worry about - rain all day today, and possibly snow on Thursday - guess Momma will get out the umbrella AND the snowshoes!
Hey, early breaking news - Danica Parker will race on Saturday after all in the Nationwide! Move over JG, here comes the DP!

Momma is awake past eleven o'clock and no sleepy eyes either. Hope that your mom is feeling better. Mom smarted a little but it didn't last long. A friend told mom to take it easier before she broke that rib or ribs again. She figures another week or two. I wish that Mr. Sun would come back too! Snuggles and I both miss finding a sunny spot to sleep in. I think that Mr. Sun went on a vacation and forgot to tell us. The temperature was high 53 & low was 45 this morning, now it's 47 with humidity 86% & wind is Calm. Monday's suppose to be Cloudy & 53.
Wow, we got alot of responses on the "Gothic Kittens" story we shared with you last night! "This woman also tied rubberbands around the defensive kitties tails so that the tails would fall off. Apparently she thought that was "cute" too." <<<---(This was on a blog to our doggy sister.) We hope the lady also gets a stiff sentencing and not allowed to have anymore animals.
Mom changed my profile photo tonight. This one was taken about a year ago. Mom's trying to get updated pictures of each of us but some of us are not cooperating. MOL! Mom says black kitties are xtra hard to get a good picture.
Our sister doggy, Carly 11000 on DC, is still doing good on her insulin. Dad went to watch the football game with his nephew.
Mom washed, dried, folded and put away four loads of laundry yesterday. We have new neighbors across the street from us and they have three kids and two small dogs. We hope these people are nice.

Hi Ya Spongie,Gang,Angels, & Mom
I was good when Mom came home from work tonight, didn't even try to esacpe,MOL. I got no treats last night at all. I don't think that was very nice. Mom did cave today though, thank goodness. If treats were going to be witheld again, I was going to pack my bag & my heated cat bed and head to Max & Pouncer's house. Their Mom Annmarie, is pretty good at treat distribution, and I know the sad Sammy face always works on her,hehehehe. She thinks I'm cute,MOL. My team lost their game tonight, but I did have a couple of good assists. Hope we get back on track winning again. I'm getting my passport ready for the Olympics, that's going to be super fun! Hey Spongie
Our power was out for a couple of hours this morning and when the power came back on the cable and internet was out. Mom was shocked when the cable company actually came and repaired it today, as they told her it would be late tomorrow before someone could come out. I know you're waiting to hear the outcome of tonight's MHL match up between our Team, Thunderclan, and our friend Sammy's team, Kitty Avalanche. Well.....the final was Thunderclan 4, Kitty Avalanche 3! Yep, we did it! Your's truly was named a game star! I had a couple goals, it was a real exciting game. Much better then the Super Bowl,MOL. Kind of takes the sting out of my ever aching tail! Pouncer...more ice please,hehehe. Pouncer had a couple of penalties,MOL. But she played a real good game too. It's real exciting getting a game star! Now I know how Pouncer felt when she got her's. Well, it's time to stake out my space on Mom's bed..geeze the Princess is already there! Dearest Spongie, gang and mommy
Hi Spongie, no wacking today?:) Sounds like you still had lots of fun though:) How is your mommy's tooth feeling, we think of you and wonder how your mommy is feeling.
I am having a better day today, the food is staying in my tummy, haven't eaten as much but at least I am eating. Very sleepy yet, but mom said that was to be expected, bad days always take a lot out of me. Teddy is having a good day, didn't want to take his meds and mom isn't forcing him, since he sems to know when he needs more. Last time when mom made him take the pill against his will, he threw up so much, so now she leaves him be when he refuses to take his thyroid pill.
Mom worked late and then went grocery shopping, now dad is switching channels between a movie he's watching and the puppy bowl, mom and us kits are waiting to see if they will have a kitten halftime show, we saw the bunny cheerleaders and the tailgaters, all so very, very cute:)

Not a lot is happening. The sun is shining and it is cold out. I played with the mouse this morning; but not the bug chaser. My Dad put my old bed back my favorite place and I am in it. Hello my Spongie...I am missing you so much!
My Mom is in Florida and has been ther going on two weeks. She is babysitting the grandkids while daughter and hubby are in Costa Rica. she will be home in a week...We miss her, but at least we still have our other Mom....I am going to come for Valentines day if it is ok with your Mom...let me know.
I am excited to watch the big Superbowl game....My Mom says the Colts are favored, but she is rooting for the Saints cause she always goes for the underdog...she says thats why she likes the Browns! heheheheh. Speaking of the game....Angel Canuck and LucyFur would like Gypsy, Rambo and Bootsie to come over and watch the big game, snack and enjoy each others company. Hope they can make it.. I am gonna snuggle in my special bed with the kiss pocket and it will be the best I can do to pretend that I am with you,,,,but I hope to see you soon for Valentines Day. Hey Spongie and family
We are having a quiet day here. Mom had a stressful week with the old doggie Quark being sick-- acting strange Wednesday night, like he couldn't move with any coordination and didn't know how to lie down either. By Thursday morning he was improving and even barked to go out. Her best guess and the vet's was that he had a kind of stroke or seizure. He is almost back to his old self and getting very pampered. Hello all my wonderful friends , and Happy Superbowl Sunday, we are all very excited and can't wait for the game here, we are all Cheering for the Colts and Peyton to win the big game!!!!! Its hard to cheer against the Saints because if they were playing anyone but the Colts, we would cheer for them, but we really want our Colts to win!!!! Mom says I seem to be feeling much better since I got my first Sub-Q fluid treatment, I am more active and hanging out with Mom & Dad more, so she is happy about that. Today has been a really busy day or us, Mom got up at 6:30 then worked out for 1 hour. Then she cleaned the kitchen and made some Colts Cookies, (cookies with blue and white M&M's) put them on her Colts plate. Then she had to clean the rest of the house, clean all the litter boxes and do a few loads of laundry, we are all exhaused from watching her, way to much work if you ask us!!!! She is done now so she said she is going to blog for me really quick, because she is also going to make some seafood gumbo for the game (I want to try that!!!) We wish you all a fun Superbowl Sunday, and we hope to be celebrating a big Colts victory tonight!!!!! I think it will be Colts 34, Saints 23, let me know what you think!!!! Very sorry to hear yesterday was a bad day for Mom. That root canal really is giving her alot of discomfort! We are keeping her in our prayers. Don't like to see our friends in pain. Hope all is well with you. The sun is out and it is a beautiful day. We were very lucky and only got 6-8" of snow yesterday morning The roads are clear. Finally got Mom to sit down to catch up our blogs. The puppy bowl is on TV. Mom loves watching that and kitty 1/2 time every year.
