As all of you might no my Daddy had to get his leg Amputated below you9 will find pictures of him in his new leg.He has had a long road to travel but After two long years he took his first steps on June 29 of 2011.We are all so Happy to no he is on his road to recovery.We all want to thank every one for all the prayers .Every one has helped Mommy stay in her right mind through all of this.THANK YOU VERY MUCH> AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL>

EAR ACHE
Pour drops of juice from the buddie bloome (sweet shrub) into the ear.
Dissolve table salt in lukewarm water and pour into ear. This dissolves the wax which is causing the pain.
Put either wet ashes wrapped in a cloth or hot ashes in a sack on the ear and hold there.
Save the liquid that boils out of the ends of hickory and persimmon wood when burned, and pour into ear.
Pour castor oil or sweet oil into the ear
Put several drops of sewing machine oil in the ear.
Roast cabbage stalks and squeeze the juice into the ear
Break apart a betty bug at the neck and squeeze one or two drops of blood into ear
Warm a spoonful of urine and put a few drops in ear
Hold your head close to a hot lamp
Put a few ashes in an old rag. Dampen it with hot water and sleep with your head on it.
FEVER
Take a bag containing the suffer’s nail clippings to a live eel. It will carry the fever away
Snakeroot tea will bring it down
Boil two roots of wild ginger in a cup of water, strain and drink
BEE STINGS
Chew or mash ragweed and put it on sting to deadan pain and reduce swelling
Put moist snuff, mud, tobacco juice, or red clay on sting.
Put castor oil on sting
Take seven different kinds of leaves. Wad and twist them together. Tear the wad in half and rub the sting.
Place either turpentine, chewed tobacco, kerosene or a mixture of sugar and dough on the sting.

Pete & Whiskers began the Trip to Hamilton
Pete was excited to be seeing Starlight again; He hoped that Starlight’s whole family would be coming to the party.
Pete had checked the weather one last time before filing their flight plan, and was pleased to find that the storm had blown through and the weather was cold, 25 degrees but the winds were light and the overcast had broken up to leave partly cloudy skies. The flight was just over an hour and Whiskers had flown most of the way, on the trip Pete reminisced about his times with Starlight. Her presence at his Coronation had been one of his personal highpoints of his reign.
At Hamilton at Butler County Regional Airport, the jet was refueled and was ready for the return to Castle Field.
When Pete arrived at Starlight’s home, He found her waiting and ready. He gave her a warm kiss and reveled in the feel of her sweet lips on his. Also packed and ready, were My Buddy, Miss Fluffy, Tigger and Spookie. Pete greeted them all, gave mom Brenda and dad Wendell a polite headbonk and hurried all of the kitties to the waiting rented Tahoe. The baggage was loaded and they returned to the airfield in light Sunday morning traffic.
Arriving at the field, Pete introduced them all to Whiskers who he called a very special friend, family really.
Starlight had not seen Pete’s Learjet before and was excited to find such luxurious appointments. Maggie had prepared breakfasts and placed them in the galley. Once airborne, Pete would see to serving his guests while Whiskers flew the jet.
Once everyone was settled, Whiskers contacted the tower and taxied out to the fifty-five hundred foot runway. He brought the throttles up and used less than half of the runway before they thundered into the sky. Once they reached their forty thousand foot cruising altitude, Pete unbuckled and heated the meals, serving Starlight first and offering her a Champagne Mimosa. He of course didn’t join her, but the excellent food and drink pleased all of his special passengers. Talley, Callie, Dame Sassy, Maggie, Ms Murphy and Raven had taken a break from their party preparations and walked down to the airfield to greet Starlight and her family when they arrived. Pete loaded the small amount of baggage onto a motorized cart and asked one of the flight line crew to take it up to the townhouse.
They walked up the hill together, all talking excitedly, remembering good times in the past and planning more good times to come.
When they reached the townhouse, Misty had Donna Summer disco music playing; sort of a tribute to the Disco Diva’s passing during 2012. Misty told Pete she planned on doing a Disco segment during the evenings dancing. Starlight laughed, enjoying the mental image of Pete in his white disco outfit, trying to match John Travolta’s moves.

My Precious Starlight It's me your guy, Pete
I can't tell you how much it meant for me to see your blog.
I've missed you so much. I'm so glad your mommy is doing better and it's wonderful to hear that your daddy is doing so well. Our dad knows how hard it is to recover from surgery. The physical therapy hurts as much as the injury, but in the end it works.
I love you so much sweetie it was a wonderful gift to see your sweet words.
Ms Murphy has been asking me constantly if My Buddy is okay, and Talley wants to know about Spookie.

I cannot believe we haven't met you until just now! Shame on us kitties! Here is a big chunk of catnip cake with tuna icing and Greenie sprinkles for your special day. Hope your Dad is doing okay with his new leg. Our big brother's legs are both original equipment, but he wrecked one of them badly enough to be in a physio hospital a few years ago.
