The best way to locate a breeder is to scan the Breeder Directory in CAT FANCY or the Directory of Breeders or Gallery of Breeds in Cats USA and Kittens USA, magazines available at pet stores and newsstands. Some breeds are represented by national breed clubs; if one exists for your chosen breed, the secretary may be able to supply a list of breeders in your area. Check the Breeder Directory and "Organizations for Cat Lovers" in CAT FANCY for breed club listings. When writing, be sure to enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for a reply.
