Stitch, the polydactyl kitty.
|
A little over a year ago I was a single career woman, living with my sister and caring for my dear, sweet, spoiled cat. And a little over a year ago I took on what I consider to be the ultimate challenge. I am now a bride-to-be, career woman, instant full-time mother of three boys, living with my new family and caring for my dear, sweet, spoiled cat.
What a journey it has been, and it has only just begun. But I have so much to share and I’m very excited to share it with all of you fellow cat owners. For those of you who don’t know who I am, I’m the web community coordinator for the AnimalNetwork.com websites. You may also know me as the
Club Cat moderator. I’ve seen all the wonderful and heartwarming friendships and fun virtual activities created by the members of Club Cat. And I absolutely love being a part of this cat community.
I’d like to introduce you to my cat, Stitch. I adopted him from a shelter in May 2006. They guessed that he was about 3 years old at the time, so that would make him about 6 now. He is a
polydactyl kitty with a very vibrant personality. He is one of those cats who enjoys his independence, but loves snuggling up (as long as it’s on his terms, of course). And any of my friends can tell you I love sharing stories about him.
I hope that you will all be as excited as I am for my upcoming entries. I’ll be sharing more of my life as a cat parent/instant mom who spends her days wedding planning and working in the CatChannel community.
