It was Easter Sunday and there I was, snoozing on top of the bunk bed, minding my own business when my Mom came running in. “You’re the Cat of the Day, Stitch!” she squealed as she scooped me up from the comfort. I yawned as she carried me over to the computer desk. “See!” she said showing me the computer screen.
There on my Club Cat profile page was a Cat of the Day badge and tons of congratulation messages and virtual gifts like catnip-cream-filled Easter eggs, crab cakes and tuna-flavored bunnies. I felt so special and honored that the Club Cat community had thought of me and my mom. Most cats run a campaign for the honor of Cat of the Day and Cat of the Month. But the kitties over at the Catpaign & Mews Room ran a special surprise campaign for me. Well, I’m pretty sure it was a thank you to my mom who is the Club Cat Moderator but since I’m the cat I get to bask in the glory.
I wanted to take the time to thank each and every kitty in Club Cat for your votes and for making me Cat of the Day on Easter. I also have a special thank you to Boo Kitty who created that awesome Cat of the Day photo for me. And if you’re a kitty and you haven’t checked out Club Cat yet you really should. It’s a great online community of cats and their loving owners. Over the past few years I’ve seen how close the members have gotten. They are there to support each other when a fellow cat is sick and they rally together to offer comfort when a cat has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The owners and cats are also there for each other when the humans are sick. Not only that but you can also earn points to redeem cool cat stuff from the Club Cat Rewards catalog.
So thank you, again, to all my kitty pals for my Cat of the Day badge. It was a special surprise, and it made my Easter awesome.
