The best part of being a pet sitter is taking care of kitties that have truly impacted me. I am going to introduce you to three of them today.
 Bucky |
The first is Bucky. He has an auto-immune disease and has to take a vile-tasting medicine every day. Although he hates his meds, he lets me give it to him, and then becomes his loving, sweet self. Bucky is talkative and apparently, he feels the same way about me that I feel about him. He doesn’t like most people, but runs to the door every time I come over and tells me all about it. I call him Bucky the Wonder Cat.
 Max |
My second favorite kitty is Max. He is a great big tabby with a tail defect. Max, unlike Bucky, loves everyone including me. He also greets me at the door, meows for his canned food, and purrs so loud it is incredible. Max loves to be brushed and petted. When his owner was sick recently with the flu, Max stayed with her on the bed the entire time and helped nurse her back to health. I always look forward to the call to take care of Max and his sister, Precious.
 Miss Kitty |
My next favorite kitty is named Kitty. I call her Miss Kitty. She is another one who doesn’t like most people, but Miss Kitty loves me and I love her. She meows "welcome" at me when I come over and loves to roll over for pets. Her owner says Miss Kitty loves me more than she loves her, but I don’t believe that.
What a great second job I have. I get to offer a needed service and get extra kitty loves in the bargain!
