The first day of summer has officially come and gone and that means it’s time to add some amazing new cat-themed pieces to my wardrobe. And since lots of my friends have summer birthdays, that means I can add to their clothing collections, too. Click each picture for more info.

The only thing that could make this T-shirt-and-bloomer combination look any cuter would be to add a baby to the images in this link. Three color combinations are offered and the T has an envelope neckline, which J. Crew says makes for easy wardrobe changes. J.Crew

Zara always has affordable and fun items.(See to the right). The first T-shirt sports four simple but adorable cat faces and needs a kid 3 years old or younger to wear it. The helmet-wearing, racecar-driving cat on this T resembles my own Fergie. The sizes go up to age 13-14. I’m petite, so maybe, just maybe, I can don this one.

This double-layered skirt grabbed my attention because it’s covered in cats, but you might not notice that at first glance.

Leggings like this might hint at crazy-cat-lady status but I don’t care.

Paw-printed skinny jeans make a statement. Summer concerts might just be the right events for wearing them.

This adult T-shirt from Urban Outfitters is covered in so many cats.

Urban Outfitters also is where you’ll find this workout tank. I might need it for the gym or cruising down my city’s bike path.

A basic, throw-in-the-wash tank dress is essential for summer. Bonus points if it’s adorned with a big yawning cat face.

Modcloth is the first place I look when I’m in need of something wearable and catty. Items tend to go fast, but you might just score this pretty little thing.

Summer is wedding season. This would add a special touch to whatever you’re planning to wear.

This kitty clutch could accent the ears (but it is quite a splurge).

Cat Fashion
This after-swim cover-up looks particularly cozy.

If I wanted a swimsuit that really leaves an impression I’d have to get this one.

The link for the bag is incorrect.

The link for the swimsuit takes you to crateandbarrel.com to a melamine cat bowl... Not the swimsuit.
