Hedley is my big, orange sweetheart. Hedley is a survivor . He was found roaming the back alleys of the Tenderloin district in San Francisco, a hard-scrabble neighborhood not fit for people, much less a lonely little orange kitten. He survived by catching the occasional unfortunate rodent or pigeon and begging handouts from local merchants. He was trapped and brought to SF Animal Care and Control. I found him while helping a friend locate her lost cat. This beautiful little orange kitten with the big copper eyes, reached through his cage and touched my face with both paws, letting out a long, mournful meow. I knew right then that he was my guy! The rest is history!
