I'm sharing this video after getting a kick out of it, I've never seen a cat fetching, only dogs, my question is how to teach a cat to listen to commands like "fetch" any tips? This video also supports a local SPCA, even sweeter. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3n5Psg-NAXk[/media]

Yes, my girl cat, Holly initiates games of fetch with her favourite toy. I can be sitting / reading or watching TV and she will bring me her favourite toy and place it down with a deliberate action and then look at me. I throw the toy and she scoots after it and brings it back to me and I throw again etc. The most times holly has done this in succession is 12. Very cute and clever girl !

My cat Ashes likes to play fetch. But it is usually connected to something he wants to play with. He brings it to me and if I throw it away then he brings it back.
