Fashion fans got a glimpse of how to really work the catwalk last week. At New York's Fashion Week, a rescue cat hit the runway during the Tracy Reese fall collection.

Lily sported blue points and a smart harness as she allowed a runway model to carry her during the event. Outside, Lily the kitty could be seen walking on-leash around the show tents, drawing crowds.

The Siamese cat came courtesy of Purina ONE, which aimed to challenge common misconceptions about cats by featuring well-behaved leash-trained cats during Fashion Week in New York as part of Purina ONE's Healthy Metabolism launch, Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.

Purina ONE and Tracy Reese teamed up to highlight the True Nature of cats. Purina says the True Nature of Cats movement is about "letting our cats be who they were born to be by providing proper nutrition and enriching experiences.”

“Leash training is a great way to incorporate activity into your cat's life and give them an enriched experience, and we showed that in a big way at Fashion Week,” said Nida Bockert, Purina ONE spokesperson.

Tracy Reese partnered for the event because cats have inspired her. “As a designer, I draw inspiration from everything around me, including cats,” she said. “I loved the idea of incorporating cats into the runway show; cats have a lot of energy, which was the perfect complement to the models and my new line.”

Tracy Reese clients include First Lady Michelle Obama. The designer's clothing can be found at her flagship store in New York as well as Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom.

I have huge boobs and think that cats in fashion is awesome! Rather than being a human being I enjoy the idea of cat fashion!
