The "6 Packs 9 Lives" calendar from Found Animals features 12 months of real men with adopted cats, such as this pair from January. |
Los Angeles-based nonprofit group Found Animals is releasing a 2012 calendar titled “6 Packs 9 Lives,” which features hot men with cats. The calendar was shot by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska.
All of the men in the calendar are actual
cat owners who adopted their cats. Found Animals created the beefcake and fur calendar to promote cat adoption. They also aimed to dispel the myth that only dog is man’s best friend.
A launch party takes place Saturday, Nov. 19, in West Hollywood at The Abbey. The event will feature shirtless male models in a catwalk walk-off, hunks from the calendar, celebrity photographer Adam Bouska, and a signature Oxley gin cocktail, “Cat on a Hot Gin Roof!” The event is free and open to the public. Calendars are available online
here and in stores nationwide. All proceeds from the cat calendars will go back to Found Animals, which supports animal welfare issues and increased dog and cat adoption; 100% of proceeds will be slated for
cat spay/neuter initiatives.
