What do you do during hard times when money is tight and you are not sure how to feed yourself let alone how to feed your cat? In many communities, there are shelter and rescue organizations dedicated to distributing cat food and other pet food, and some traditional food banks also serve cat and other pet owners. Nevada Humane Society Pet Food Assistance Program
Dog, cat food available on a once-a-month basis. Animals must be spayed/neutered in order to qualify, however if someone needs assistance and doesn't have their pets fixed, NHS offers resources to help find low-cost options.

I have a domestic short hair named Buddy. He's my companion and helps cheer me up. I don't want to give him up but I need cat food and litter. I have no income and waiting for SS case... Can anyone help?

I am currently on disability and trying to feed and care for 12 rescue cats and kittens in TN. There are so many unwanted pets right now that no one is interested in giving a cat a home. Is there any financial aide in TN for this ?
