My husband designed and built our cats their very own house which has siding and shingles to match our home. He made the house to provide our cats with a close-up view of the birds and squirrels as well as a way to move one of the litterboxes outside.

The cat house has a screened walkway with a roof that leads from a cat door cut in the basement wall to a cat door in their house. In the middle of their house, they can step down to a large litterbox. A carpeted ledge provides a nook to lie and look out the windows, which are on two sides of the house. Another perch sits up above the windows if they want to hide.
