TV's favorite Golden Girl Betty White will face her harshest critics in a celebrity roast to benefit the non-profit organization Actors and Others for Animals. The event will take place at the Universal Hilton and Towers Ballroom in Universal City, Calif. on March 12, with tickets costing $150.

Actors and comedians Ed Asner, Fred Willard, Angie Dickinson, Cloris Leachman, Gavin MacLeod, Paula Poundstone, Tom Kennedy, Phyllis Diller, Alex Trebek, Tom Sullivan, Tom Poston and Suzanne Pleshette will share thoughts and stories about White, an animal-welfare advocate and board member of Actors and Others for Animals.

In addition to the roast, the celebrity-studded event will feature a silent auction and other sponsorship opportunities.

Actors and Others for Animals promotes pet population control and responsible pet care through its spay/neuter subsidy program, and also offers services such as pet-assisted therapy, humane education and helpline referrals.
