Some cats just do not socialize well, Fong said. Others get frustrated because they feel they have too little room in a small environment occupied by other cats. Others will become aggressive if they do not get enough playtime with their humans.
"Very few are pure evil," Fong said. Among those that are relentlessly aggressive, there may be a medical cause, such as injury or disease. "Cats are mostly not aggressive."
