Wean: Discontinuation of nursing, when a young kitten has adapted from mothers milk to other food. 

Whiskers: Long, coarse hairs that serve as a communication tool. Their position signals a variety of emotions and intentions. Also used to help the cat feel its way through narrow spots. Never trim your cats whiskers. They are set deep in the cats skin adjacent to nerve endings.
