I think the best thing is both of us knowing that we rely on each other. She is the world to me, and the best thing is, I can tell that I am the world to her, too. Pappoose
I love all my babies as they give me joy and happiness. Pappoose is special as she came to my backyard about 4 months after my favorite kitty (Six) had to be put to sleep. I have 19 kitties and I show them all love and just knowing they stay shows me that they love me as well. They are all my life and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Lily Rose
The best thing about being a mom to Lily Rose is having her look at me with her big copper eyes and act so innocent i.e. "honest mom, I didn't do anything" And I love the way that she cuddles up with me at night. She wakes me up to scratch her tummy, but I really don't mind. It's also fun to see her play tag with my Maltese puppy and play hide and seek.

Taffie
The best thing about being a cat Mom is all the unconditional love my cats give me. I come home and they are all waiting for me. I am sick in bed, I am not alone. Having a "gang" of cats is not for everyone that is for sure. Our home is made up of special needs and senior cats. I would not change a thing except I wish I had a bigger home and more money for Vet bills. Taffie and Me have a special relationship. I take care of her by saving money for her many surgeries. Most recent is a cataract repair this past winter. She thanks me every day by bringing me toys from around the house and placing them next to me. The best thing is life is being a "Fur Mom".

Mittens
The unconditional love that I receive from all of my kitties. They are always there to support me, in the good times and bad. They have taught me to accept what-ever life brings and to be happy because I have them to share my life. Mitt has been a lifeline for me after Misty passed away. Merrybelle
Merrybelle is such a sweet girl and I am very lucky that she came to my house after being abandoned. She has the feline herpes virus & it affects her eyes. We visited a feline opthamologist in 2005 who prescribed lysine twice a day. Thankfully, Merrybelle has been doing purrfectly since then. I am very blessed to be her Mom.

The best thing about being Thomas' mom is the deep bond and love that we have for each other. It may be because he is a special needs cat and is dependent upon me, but there is something palpable between the two of us. He is wonderfully special. After having been badly abused as a kitten and having his rear legs dislocated and his back broken, he was paralyzed. He has no bladder or bowel control. He is totally dependent on me for all aspects of care. To make something good come of something bad, I take him into public schools or any venue available, to teach about abuse, cruelty, and neglect .He's my little fuzzy buddy. Where I go, he goes. He's like having an infant that will never grow up.

The best thing about being a mom to my cats is the love I receive back from them. And it's not just about my own cats, it's about all the cats that I help every day. Leo was 2 weeks old when he was dropped off at the vet clinic I worked at. I became his Mom. And even when we found out he had feline leukemia, I refused to have him put to sleep. I fought for him. I made his life the best I possibly could. And in return, Leo loved me with all his heart- you could see it in his eyes when he looked at you; he knew he was ill and that he wouldn't be around for long. So he lived every day as it was his last. He never wasted a minute. That kitten taught me more about life in his short 1 1/2 years than I've ever learned since. He inspired me to create my business called FeLV Advocate that not only helps owners create deeper bonds with their cats through education, but promotes pro-life beliefs for leukemia cats. Without Leo's love, I would never have had the inspiration to help all the cats I do today. What is the best thing about being a cat mom? Everything.

The love that you get in return is SOOOO worth it. I LOVE snuggling with my cats. I cannot sleep at night unless my cat is by my side or very close to me. My favorite is when you come home and your cat is waiting for you. If they are not waiting at the door, then they come running to greet you. Thats when you know your cat loves you :)
