We all strive to do the very best for our feline companions. But the hectic pace of modern life often stops us from giving them our full attention on a daily basis. Here are some easy ways to make your cats feel special, even when time and money are tight.
1. Give tired toys a boost. Put your cats’ old, used toys in a covered plastic container filled with dried catnip. Shake the container a few times, then set it aside. In a day or two, grab a toy from the container, brush off the excess catnip flakes and toss the toy back into play. Catnip-loving cats should attack it with renewed vigor. Keep a couple of toys stored in the container, so there’s always a readily available supply.
