I did not know fading kitten syndrome was likely to be due to mother/kitten blood incompatibility. The Vets I have worked for the last 25 years have never even mentioned it as a cause. I have an adult cat that I nursed thru this. I suppose it was because at age 4 days I took him from his mother and became his mother. I can't wait to ask out vets about this. Now I am sure I have A and B type cats in my house. Several are our blood donors but we have never typed them due to expense to me as I recieve no discounts. But now I will test my donors even if I have to work an extra job for the money to do so.
