When people think of Greece, they might picture ancient ruins and sun-drenched islands. Although cats basking on ancient ruins make for picture-perfect postcards, the image belies the difficult lives these cats endure and the magnitude of the problem.

May cats EVERYWHERE be shown kindness, compassion, and love. That is my most heartfelt daily prayer.
