For the Snowshoe, the saying “all things in moderation” holds true … except when it comes to the cat’s beautiful markings. Cat lovers immediately recognize the cats by their white “shoes” and pointed markings on their faces, tails and legs.

“The combination of points and white pattern on the feet … results in a variety of unique leg and facial patterns for an eye-catching look,” says Hellen Pounds, a Snowshoe breeder in Slidell, La.
