Vicki Myron’s Dewey brought attention to a cat who managed to brighten the lives of everyone around him during his residence at a small-town Midwestern library. Dewey’s claim to fame was his title as a library cat, and he is certainly not the only cuddly kitty who calls a library home. Throughout the country there are countless felines who reside in bookstores and libraries; now you have the chance to meet 45 of them.

What a wonderful way to celebrate 45 years. 45 of people, places, and all things cat in every issue. The Library Cats article is my favorite--one of those [Paddy, the Pacelli High School library cat] is my cat, and I can't tell you how much he can do for the students. Thanks for telling his story and all the 45 year "tales" you're sharing.
