Knowing how to use a pet first aid kit might save your cat’s life.

One day you might notice your cat has a limp, is vomiting or has been in some type of accident. Few things cause more stress for a cat owner than to have an injured pet and not know what to do. Be prepared with a feline first aid kit that contains all of the items necessary to deal with a cat’s mishaps, from a simple thorn in the paw to a major medical issue.

An emergency is not the time to go around and gather the items that you need, says Nancy Peterson, the Feral Cat Program manager at the Humane Society of the United States. “Having everything in one place is critical to the well-being of your cat.”

I hate to think of my kitty getting hurt and me not knowing what to do or being able to take her to the vet! I am going to have to read over this article very closely...better safe then sorry!
