Cleaning up and restoring order after a raucous New Year’s Eve party is child’s play in comparison to the ongoing clean up after one’s cats all year round. It would be wonderful if we could allot one day a month for them to shed, throw up and cause chaos around the house in return for their cooperation in keeping things spotless for the rest of the time.
