Quick Cat’s Quick Home

Most cats can be described as lithe, graceful, athletic and fast. Quick Cat, however, exhibits none of these traits.

The frightened, gray 2-month-old tabby was among a group of cats abandoned just south of San Francisco, that were rescued by humane officers and brought to the Peninsula Humane Society & Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. PHS/SPCA employs four veterinarians and a dozen veterinary technicians and assistants to help provide care for approximately 11,000 animals every year, including 4,000 cats. Linda Janowitz, the chief of medicine was one of the veterinarians working the day Quick Cat arrived.
