What a Character!

Your field guide to fictional felines.

By Lisa Anderson Mann

From Puss in Boots to Macbeth’s Grimalkin, to Gareth the time-traveling cat, to the sleuthing Siamese in “The Cat Who …” mystery series, cats have earned as prominent a place in fictional plots as they have in their owner’s hearts.
