The success of a cat rescue relies on two important elements: a network of caring individuals who are willing to work hard to save cats’ lives and the funds to support their cause. In that way, Winging Cat Rescue, which saves cats from high-kill shelters in Georgia, is like many others across the United States. What makes this group different is that the organizing and fundraising happens virtually — in other words, completely over the Internet.
