I love that Cat Fancy included rescue stories about FIV cats. I remember starting a rescue called SNAP in 1993 and speaking to the head vet at Cornell about an FIV cat I rescued. I will never forgot her telling me how they had just checked over a twenty year old cat who had never lived with another cat, or been out of the house who came up with FIV during a routine blood work up. These animals can live long lives. Way to go Cat Fancy!
