Allison Myers dreads each allergy season. So does her cat. Whe Myers brought Gizmo home from the shelter, he was a playful and alert kitten. Soon, however, Myers noticed that Gizmo had started scratching himself constantly. Within days, he had scratched off sections of his own fur, resulting in crusty, weeping sores. Myers rushed him to the veterinarian, who immediately recognized that Gizmo was suffering from allergies.
