Did you know May 30 is Hug Your Cat Day? This is a recent discovery for me. It got me thinking, though, about how important the human-animal bond actually is in our lives. As much as we do for our pets, they do a lot for us: showing unconditional love, playing the clown and curling up with us. Around the same time, I began noticing scads of cat products that donate money to charity, most notably breast cancer. Buy for the animals, and they give back to us. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but I won’t wait that long to bring these great products to your attention. As far as I’m concerned, every month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And don’t forget to hug your cat.
