Many cat lovers carry fond memories of childhood feline pets with rounded heads, stocky bodies and gorgeous pointed coats. These cats “talked” with loud voices, showed devotion to their owners and often lived long lives. Thinking of these beloved pets causes some cat lovers to wax nostalgic about “old-style” Siamese.
Today, dedicated breeders satisfy enthusiasts’ longing for stockier pointed cats through their efforts to breed cats that feature the Siamese’s well-known pointed colors and stunning blue eyes on larger feline bodies.
