Very helpful. I had a Sphynx (hairless) cat the past 18 years and grooming obviously was very different. I am thinking of replacing her with a rescue now and this was very helpful in reminding me of the proper tools needed when I take that step to give a cat out there a forever home. I do know that the treats are a must needed item. Whenever it was bath time and nail trimming time for my late Ginger having the Greenies treats (her favorite) ready made her so willing for grooming.

It was helpful: however many cats have situation such as matted hair spots. What should not be done; my cat has 2 layers of fur a dense undercoat and long top layer. I enjoy grooming her more than she likes it.
