Bio:
Marilyn Krieger, MA, a nationally known certified cat behavior consultant (CCBC), helps resolve cat behavior issues using a combination of positive methods, including behavior modification, training techniques and education. One of her goals is to educate people about cats and cat behavior to keep cats from being needlessly surrendered to shelters and euthanized for resolvable behavior challenges. In addition to having her own cat behavior consulting business called The Cat Coach, Marilyn volunteers at the Peninsula Humane Society in San Mateo, Calif. She answers calls on the Animal Behavior Help Line, focusing on cat-behavior issues.

In addition to consulting and writing cat behavior articles and columns, Marilyn teaches classes and lectures nationally on cat behavior. Marilyn is also the coordinator for the California Bengal Cat Rescue group, part of the international Bengal Rescue Network. Many of the cases that come to her in rescue are behavior related. Marilyn has successfully resolved these issues by working with owners, veterinarians, and cats.

She is a proud certified member of the IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants).

Great feature. I was devastated to lose two cats within a month of each other last year, and I wish I'd known then that there was support out there. I also didn't realize that cats grieved as well... and so deeply! I'm grateful to be better informed. Thank you!
