Breed Snapshot: Long on Personality

Manx enthusiasts claim the cat's larger-than-life personality makes up for its lack of a tail.

By Stacy N. Hackett

According to legend, the Manx arrived almost too late to board the ark, racing aboard just before Noah slammed the boat’s large door. The cat didn’t move quickly enough, and the door caught the cat’s tail, permanently removing it.
