Vive la Chat!

Anyone who has lived with a senior cat knows what wonderful companions they make. They know the house rules, they're willing to relax next to you or on your lap, and they've grown more dependent on their bond with you than ever. We're happy to report that cats are living longer. In fact, new feline-to-human age equivalents were recently developed to more adequately represent cats' life stages and that's exciting.

I shared my life with two geriatric cats until they passed away a couple years ago. Today I live with two cats who are just entering their prime. Managing Editor Annie's cats are juniors. We enjoyed the new age-equivalent chart in this issue and look forward to your reactions to it, too.
