Mari in Los Angeles, your TNR work is commendable. Thank you for the great work you're doing. You'll just have to talk to your neighbors and explain what you're doing and the benefits of having the cats around (rodent control, etc.). Explain that once fixed, they won't reproduce. There's always a chance of trapping raccoons and possums, but hopefully once caught and released, they won't go back into the trap.

I believe that TNR is a great way to help the over population of unwanted cats and kittens. I have successfully controlled the population and have a colony of cats that all live in harmony. I am now facing a situation where I would like to practice the TNR to rescue and relocate cats in an area where their are coyotes, but how do I do this without having the neighbors upset and reporting me to the HOA because the food within the trap may attract animals such as possums or raccoons?

Great work! Just wondering, do they ever pick up sociable cats who may be strays and therefore adoptable, like the Siamese at the end of the video.
