 Juakeem Love Claus
My cat does not know he is a cat; he thinks he is a little boy. His name is Juakeem Love Claus and he will be 6 years old July 29, 2006. For his birthday each year we have a party for him. All his playmates (my nephews) and his aunts (my sisters) come to celebrate with him. We always have balloons, paper ribbons, a Happy Birthday banner, cake for the guests and cookies made from scratch that are for cats only.
When I go shopping, I always buy him at least one new toy. When I get home, he immediately goes through the bags looking for his new toy. He now has a maze made of blocks. I have added on so many that it takes up most of the dining room and gives just enough room to slide around it into the kitchen.
He sleeps in bed with me every night. He has two padded blocks that he naps in during the day. He prefers for me to sit on the floor with him. He likes to lay right by me.
Juakeem loves to play catch and bring the ball back, what I call a sort of basketball/tennis. He also likes to jump up on my shoulders and wrap himself around my neck. I don’t know how he manages to balance himself just right, as I am very small boned and he is very big.
