 Princess
Our kitty Princess is royalty. She has many beds or thrones and more toys than we can count. She loves to be near us, so we have accommodated our work space to have a nice area for her to sleep on our desk. She is allowed to bask in the sun from the window at her leisure and walk high and mighty in front of the television screen to receive her royal servants’ admiration whenever she desires attention. All she needs to do to get her favorite wet food is look at us with those adorable eyes and meow her royal call for attention.
Her majesty’s requests are never denied. Every night at bedtime she shares my pillow. She purrs louder than my husband snores but is never turned away. When she nudges me off to more than her half the pillow, I allow her to… after all, she is royalty. Her royal thrones must be fluffed and straightened so she is comfortable. We raise the blinds so she may stalk birds who dare to tease Princess. We give her special flowers to nibble, with which she makes unspeakable messes. She is loved and adored by all her human servants. It is a joy to serve her every whim.
