I tried to submit a comment but it isn't going through. Just thought that I'd like to go to Maddie's Fund to set up a No Kill Canada modeled after what is happening in the USA. It would make for an excellent grouping of magazine articles that would help save cats.

I would like to volunteer at Maddies Fund and/or the No Kill Advocacy Centre in the USA, to learn the day-to-day needs of running such an organization. I am trying to start something similar in Canada (No Kill Canada) to make shelters stop killing healthy animals or orphaned kittens under 6 weeks. They do amazing work, and I'd like to bring that home to Canada. I wish CF would do an article about the No Kill movement and what it means for cats, as well as the statistics for why No Kill is achievable by 2015 in the USA. And also a related article on what cat lovers can do to support No Kill in their communities. Rich Avanzino from Maddies Fund would be the person to interview.
