Eat some Maggie Moo’s ice cream and help benefit Frederick County Humane Society cats.
|
Purchase a sweet treat at the Frederick, Md., Maggie Moo’s ice cream parlor near the Westridge Cinemas from 7 to 9 p.m., Sept. 26, and 10 percent of your purchase price will be donated to the Frederick County Humane Society to help care for the shelter’s cats and dogs.
As a special treat, several local celebrities will join the fun, lending their support by scooping the ice cream for the evening. The Frederick County Humane Society doesn’t want to spoil the surprise by leaking which celebrities will be there.
While you enjoy your ice cream treat, you can find out more about the Frederick County Humane Society and learn about the cats and dogs available for adoption. Shelter staff will be available to explain the shelter’s programs and tell you about the pets looking for new homes.
